We loved our stay in this beautiful house! It's even better in person than the photos - and the photos are pretty great! Perfect location - peaceful and secluded but not far from anything. Melissa was amazing and communicated quickly when any question arose - we were able to check in early and check out late which was an awesome benefit with wine in the car! The amenities are perfection: such a well-stocked kitchen and a pristinely clean bathroom. The bed was so comfortable and the character throughout this lovely old granary really made it a stand out. The location is central to many wineries, breweries and great restaurants - we never felt far from anything but it was so quiet and peaceful to be surrounded by fields and so much green! The hot tub was an amazing bonus and we used it on an unexpectedly cold May night. Suffice to say, we will, without a doubt, be making a return visit to this wonderful place. - Lisa & Dave, Sawyer, MI

My family and I traveled to the area to attend a wedding. Jenny’s place was perfect for us. It offered all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. We would have taken advantage of more of them if our stay had been longer. We appreciated how welcoming and comfortable the property is. Jenny was great in providing helpful information and instructions, and she always was quick to respond. We would definitely stay there again on a return trip to the area.

Our car broke down on our way up North so we got to the house very late with no food or water because stores were closed and luckily this house had everything we needed and was so clean and cozy! We enjoyed every room and played lots of games and built a fire everyday. The guidebook was also so helpful! We enjoyed this house so much and would love to come back and stay at Darcy’s again. One of my favorite stays, thank you so much!!

Quiet, restful, a country retreat that was just what we needed. Overlooking a beautiful lake, horses checking us out, great place for the dog to go for a walk (leashed of course, didn’t want the horse and dog to mix it up), Kathryn’s place was charming, cozy and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

This was our 3rd trip to Jolynne’s place and we can’t wait to go again! It’s a beautiful property and perfect for a relaxing weekend.

I can’t say enough good things about Mary and Blossom Gardens! The room itself was comfy, tidy, and super clean. The setting is very peaceful, the Cedar area is charming, and the cabin is still close enough to TC to enjoy all that the area offers. Mary was a great communicator and made us feel very welcome! We would love to return the next time we’re in the area.

Lenore and Scott were both so sweet and kind- from me booking the place to leaving. They were so helpful with giving straight forward directions. Lenore showed me around the farm and I loved that! The place was so clean and cozy. It is a peaceful, serene, getaway.

Jacob was a great host he responded quickly and gave clear instructions. It was a very nice place, everything was very clean when we arrived. I would definitely go back.

Charming and quaint. Ideal space for someone looking to get away from the busy downtown or even other wineries in the area. Nestled in a beautiful setting with very friendly staff at the winery that will tell you about their sustainable approach to wine growing in the region. Things I especially enjoyed: 1. Meeting the staff and enjoying a tasting in their tasting room 2. Having the area to ourselves after the tasting room was closed 3. Incredible star gazing 4. Quiet dinner around the camp fire surrounded by the vineyard 5. Observing wildlife in the area 6. Feeding the hens my left over snacks Would definitely book again when looking for some serenity and in the area.

Fantastic house and property! We were here in February for a long weekend and the house was perfect. It snowed several inches and this was the best place to curl up by the wood stove with a book, explore the property with our dog, and play games with the kids. One of the cleanest rentals we’ve stayed at and every thing was just as pictured. Location is great - short drive to Northport, Suttons Bay, and even Glen Arbor for an afternoon of skiing. Cannot recommend enough!

This rental was perfect for a large family to stay, as it sleeps 12 (including futon and couch). It was perfect for our large group attending graduation from Interlochen Arts Academy which is just 14 minutes away. The kitchen was well appointed and the house was light filled and comfortable. The views of the horses was my favorite part. The front porch was peaceful and we had an amazing time. Fire pit was nice, but we didn’t use it. Plenty of parking available. This is a great place, as long as you realize you are far from any major towns (30 mins to Traverse City). It was peaceful, clean, and perfect for us!

We absolutely loved our stay! Beautiful property, very private, and close to wineries! Lots to do with littles. We had 4 kids under 4, and were able to manage sleeping/nap arrangements and saftey/babyproofing. The only downside was not having curtains or blinds- for little kids who nap in multiple rooms, we really had to get creative- and the sun woke the adults up super early. The espresso machine saved us! Otherwise the hot tub worked great, and the management team was very responsive! We would highly recommend!

We couldn’t have asked for better weather which made our time there so much fun!! Lauren was so nice and informative when we arrived, we felt at home. The views were amazing. Coffee and bagels brought to us in the morning! It was so perfect!!! It makes you feel like you’re in a whole different world. We will definitely be back!

Lauren's house is perfect for a large family group. We came for a ski weekend/family reunion and it was perfect. The large family room/kitchen was our focus, with kids playing and adults catching up, cooking meals, etc. The bedrooms were comfortable and quiet, with lots of space. The bunk room was a huge hit with the cousins. It snowed constantly throughout our weekend and Lauren and Michael had our road plowed twice, which was very much appreciated. The open design of the living room, with all its large windows gave the feeling of being surrounded by nature and the snowfall. It was beautiful. There was 2-3 feet of snow in the backyard--turned out to be perfect for several football games, with tackling in the snow-very memorable! The kitchen is well organized and has everything we needed. The island and table combination worked well for meals. We loved the entire set-up. Thank you for such a memorable stay, Lauren and Michael!

We loved our stay at the vineyard cottage! The views of the vineyard from the home are absolutely breathtaking. The backyard is peaceful and private, perfect for a family bonfire overlooking Aurora Cellars. The home itself was spotless and well-equipped with thoughtful touches throughout. The beds were super comfy and the home is well-laid out for multiple couples. The host was always very kind, helpful, and responsive. We can’t wait to return and have already booked our next stay :)!

It was such a beautiful location with plenty of wildlife to see walking through the back yard. It was the perfect location to catch the early Ferry to Washington Island.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. So many things to do for everyone (2adults,2kids&the dog). We fished, relaxed in the hot tub, made s’mores in the fire pit. We played at the lodge on the cold rainy Friday, it was incredible (don’t forget to bring towels). The cabin was nicely located on top of a hill. You could see the water from the front yard and the few neighbors we saw were very friendly and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked and the washer and dryer made things so easy for us to clean up. Doreen and John were very quick to get back to us with any questions. The little air conditioner and individual heaters were perfect for this time of the year. The lakes were beautiful and filled with fish. The boys had a blast. We can’t wait to come back when it’s a bit warmer. We will definitely use their place’s again, looking at one on the water for our next trip. 10/10

Bed was more comfortable than the one at home. And the cottage was pristinely clean and well decorated. Will likely be purchasing similar blankets for my own house. Perfect central location with top wineries within walking distance. Easy access to the Leelanau bike trail. Super peaceful and private. Can’t wait to return.

The stay was perfect for the golf weekend that my buddies and I did. The location was great for the courses we were playing, and having 3 king beds was perfect for the 3 of us that went.

We felt right at home here. It was clean and had everything we needed! She thought of all the small things like fans, black out curtains (in the kids’ room), a coffee bar, kitchen basics and even crayons/coloring books. With two small children, the games, toys and large yard were awesome! Very private and central to everywhere we wanted to go.

I did end up doing most of the corresponding with one of the co-hosts, as Pam was not reachable from the phone number listed in their binder of notes/recommendations. Overall, I would say it was a really good location and home to stay in.

My group has been cross-country skiing at ABR for more than 20 years. We like to rent a house on the trails. This was our first time at Saari House. The second week in March was late in the season for skiing, but we skied in the mornings and snowshoed in the afternoons. Being right off the Blueberry Bluffs trails was nice. The house is charming, with lots of natural light. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a dining room table that seats 6. There is just one bathroom but that was fine for our group of four women. One bedroom is on the main floor, off the cozy living room. The second floor has the second bedroom, plus an extra room with a pull-out couch. It was nice to have plenty of large towels, and a washer/dryer in the bathroom. There is a small wooden deck around the front of the house. You enter through a mud room with plenty of room to store your boots and hang clothes. We look forward to a visit here next winter!
