Our 150-year-old country house is located on the banks of the Saale surrounded by the beautiful mountains of the Schiefergebirge. The apartment is completely renovated and offers space for a relaxing break at any time of the year. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous opportunities for hiking or cycling and in summer the Hohenwarte reservoir invites you to swim. Various shopping facilities are in the village – including Supermarket, bakery and pharmacy. The train station is 1.5 km from the house.

Cosy apartment in the attic

With this special accommodation, all the important points of interest are very close by. This makes planning your stay very straightforward. The apartment is centrally located in the Dichterviertel, surrounded by beautiful parks, the Flutgraben, many bridges and close to the beautiful Steigerwald. If you want to explore the Old Town with its many attractions, it's only about a 10-minute walk. But you can also take the tram. The stop is practically on the doorstep.

Alte Bäckerei - Old Bakery Center Saalfed Design

When master baker Hans Lange settled here in Saalfed in 1546 with the secret Nuremberg gingerbread recipe, no one could have guessed that his business would continue for 19 generations. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form. 2 room fully equipped apartment in the center

I offer a vacation rental in the center of Saalfeld. The apartment is equipped with everything (except salt, pepper and oil) and has a separate entrance. Everything worth seeing in Saalfeld can be reached on foot and there is free parking behind the house. Opposite is another (1 room) apartment that I also rent via Airbnb. When booking the property for tourist activities, a tourist tax is due. The parking is monitored by cameras.

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. Shopping, doctors, train station and bus are a 5-minute walk. The apartment is spacious and equipped with the most important things. A great place to feel good for short and long-term trips. There are 2 bedrooms. A double bed which is 160 cm wide and one that can also be extended to 160 cm. A maximum of 4 people can be accommodated here.

Surrounded by meadows and forests, it is the perfect retreat to unwind, go hiking or explore attractions such as the Saalfeld Fairy Grottoes. Unsere Wohnung liegt in der Grünen Mitte vom Saalfeld, zum historischen Stadtzentrum sind es nur wenige Schritte. Die Wohnung befindet sich im Erdgeschoss mit separaten Eingang. In der Nähe befinden sich einige Restaurants, das Freibad und Hallenbad. Die Stadt Saalfeld berechnet einen Kurbeitrag für Erwachsene 2€, Kinder ab 6 bis 14 Jahre 1€ pro Tag , die Kosten dafür sind im Preis enthalten.

Our apartment is located in quiet forest surroundings but within walking distance to Sonneberg town centre. It is perfect for hikers and mountain bikers, with hundreds of kilometres of trails leading into the Thuringian Forest national park from our front door.
