Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

This lovely cottage is located a few meters from Lake Vänern and has a sandy beach, wood-fired sauna and jetty with wood-fired hot tub. Perfect even for winter swimming! The views of the lake are amazing! The cottage has 2 lofts with beds, living room with sofa bed, TV, dining area, kitchenette, fridge/freezer, oven, hotplates, dishwasher, toilet, shower and washing machine. Large glass doors can be opened out to the balcony, which has a gas grill, outdoor furniture and sun loungers. This is a quiet, natural and beautiful accommodation 15 km outside Lidköping.

This unique place has a style all its own that has emerged over the five years that we have been rebuilding the barn. High ceilings and plenty of space both inside and out. Everything is new and fresh. Perfect place for rest and recreation. It includes bicycles, kayaks and SUPs (2 of each) and the proximity to sports and outdoor life is good. Lovely house in the countryside

Welcome to Snickargården in scenic Stora Mosshult, Tiveden! Here you rent a charming newly renovated house built in 1886 with room for up to 8 guests. In the house, there are all the amenities of our time but with saved details from the past. Hiking trails and swimming lake are within walking distance. Tiveden's attractions are within walking distance and can be reached by bicycle or car. Bed linens, towels and final cleaning are included. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate pets, as many of our guests are allergic to fur.

Ta en paus och varva ner i denna fridfulla oas. Fin sjöutsikt från stugan och ca 300 m till bad och grillplats vid sjön. Cosy cabin only 10 minutes by car from the famous Tivedens National Park. Amazing view to lake Unden, the largest fresh water lake in Tived. Fantastic to swim in when it's warm in the summer. Amazing sunsets and a very peaceful atmosphere. Romantic. The area straight down from the cabin by the water doesn't belong to the property but welcomes respectful visitors.

Att få bli ett med naturen i en magisk omgivning är något speciellt. Här kan ni slappna av och bara njuta! Till byggnaden hör även en terrass med bord & stolar. Byggnad uppfördes 2023 där byggmaterial är närproducerat, möbler & elektronik är återbrukade för att få ett så litet klimatavtryck som möjligt. On a ridge overlooking northern Lake Vättern's beautiful archipelago lies our modern, newly built holiday home with large social areas and a fantastic ceiling height with nice light inputs. Here a slightly larger group/family can find recovery with proximity to nature yet it is only 10 minutes by car to the beautiful small city of Askersund. Tivedens National Park is close as well as the long sandy beach Harjebaden. The house was completed in autumn 2018 and has all amenities.

Uggletorp's guest house by the forest

The cottage is 4 km outside Sjötorp and 10 km outside Lyrestad. There is a possibility to get there by bicycle. Göta Canal runs through both communities where there are also cafés, grocery stores, restaurants, swimming areas and museums In the pictures, you can also see the nice Sjötorp, which is 10 minutes away by bike. A perfect cabin for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts or for those who are on the road. There are also bicycles for rent.
