Wonderful weekend away, plenty of space for our family of 8, beautiful surroundings, v comfortable bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, large verandah to enjoy the beautiful views and relax.

Lovely location with a beautiful view over the local countryside. Gavin was very helpful when needed, the house was very clean and well appointed. We'd defiantly stay again.

My friend and I recently stayed at your cottage near Nottingham Road, and we wanted to express how perfect it was for our needs. We were looking for a quiet place to catch up and spend time outdoors, without being too far from the hub of restaurants/shops and bars. The cottage had everything we needed, including super comfortable beds, a cosy fireplace, and breathtaking views. I will definitely visit again and highly recommend this tranquil stay! We loved our 2 night stay at KarMichael Farm. The Rose Cottage was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The views were so beautiful overlooking the farm. The heated blankets on the beds were fantastic as it was very chilly at night. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a place to stay in Himeville - it’s very close to the Glencairn Wedding venue too.

Robyn is the most friendly and responsive host I have dealt with. The property is amazing and wonderfully private. Great open areas for the kids to play and a game of Rugby was awesome on the lawn. We enjoyed the friendly horses and beautiful cows and the kids loved the chicken coop. The house was amazing loads of areas to braai with a large wrap around veranda and a fantastic pizza oven. All bedrooms look onto the mountain and were a good size. Huge kitchen and lovely herb garden. Royce the farm manager was lovely and helpful. The games room was a win. Kirsten the farm manager as even posted back a few items my teenager left behind - such amazing hassle free service. Thank you were had an amazing stay.

Great place to stay very clean and in a great location

1000 characters is not enough to describe the beauty of the place and its people, but I'll try. The venue is beautifully natural with plenty of grass area for comfy camping in tents. The cottage was rustic, off-grid and still equipped with all necessities. We slept really well and had a great night's rest in the comfy double bed. Plenty of blankets and comfy soft pillows made us feel at home. If you're going for the scenery, then you will not be disappointed any time of the year. We arrived at night during rain and was kindly guided by Karl from the offramp to the cottage. We got stuck due to the wet roads and Karl was there to assist us from the start. He offered to take us to our racing event without us asking while our car was still stuck. If it weren't for Karl, then our weekend would have turned out completely different and we would have missed the reason we came for. Karl is a gentleman and a legend. Kobi their dog is super amazing. I left with my heart full.

Such a beautiful location and close to all Nottingham Road attractions. Peaceful quiet estate. Wonderful private garden. Will definitely be back!

Warm water, internet, books everything you need . Lovely essential room, mozzie and soaps provided such a nice touch. Safe environment for todlers. A Perfect Peaceful Getaway I recently stayed at this beautiful place in the middle of nowhere, and it was exactly what I needed. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, the location was serene, private, and absolutely stunning. Waking up to the sound of birds and nothing else was pure bliss. The cottage itself was charming, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Whether it was enjoying a morning coffee on the porch, or stargazing at night without any light pollution—every moment felt special. If you're looking to disconnect, recharge, and soak in some peace and quiet, this is the place. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already dreaming about my next visit. Highly recommended!

Newleeds is a definitely home away from home. It is my family's favourite place to celebrate, unwind and refresh. Chey is an excellent host who was in constant communication with me. The fishing was great even though winter is creeping in. We had a good run. We enjoyed every moment immensely! Definitely looking forward to more stays at Newleeds. Thank you Chey!

The place just felt at home. Host gave clear directions and pictures of the entrance so it was so easy to find. Spacious, inside and outside. Loved the labelled cupboards in the kitchen which made it sooo easy to find things.

The Thatched Cottage at Beverley Country Cottages exceeded our expectations. The view was even better than the pictures, and the cottage was comfortable and well appointed. Kate and Ruth and team were friendly hosts, and very responsive in addressing any issues with the house. We liked the peace and quiet of the farm, but appreciated that it was close enough to Howick and the rest of the Midlands. Our kids also had great fun with Kate's dogs, who adopted us while we were there. Would definitely recommend!

Robin is probably the best Air BNB host we have encountered. She was just lovely and communicated with us from start to finish. If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful farm-stay on a real working farm, in a large, beautiful old house - this is your spot!

The location was good, the house was jolly good, Essy was mega helpful, the facilities were fine, the grounds were delightful, the cottage next to the house was a pleasure, the gates worked well, and it was a decent place to stay. I thought it was useful value for the money. Before you arrive though you need to find a contact WhatsUp number because Roger was in Canada and the intercom at the gate didn't function. But that was a small thing. I'd be happy to go back again.

Fantastic Airbnb find. Stunning environment. Peaceful and quiet and yet only 10-15 mins from shops. Cottage is super cute with everything you need and very comfortable bedrooms. Lovely area outside that you can sit and watch horses graze and great walk around the farm. Pippa was so helpful and suggested where to shop, eat out etc. Couldn’t recommend this listing more highly.

Elsie was a great host and communicated thoroughly throughout the stay and leading up to it. The house is stunning and well fitted. It was comfortable and spacious. After the rain a 4x4 is necesarry to get to the house on the farm roads. Overall the stay was well worth it, beautiful and clean. Would definitely recommend.
