Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ulu Kinta

This was my second time staying at Chong's house (9th - 14th June 2025), and once again, it was a great experience. The house is very clean, well-maintained, and exactly as shown in the pictures. It’s conveniently located with easy access to anywhere in Ipoh by car. Highly recommended! Chong was very responsive and promptly answered all our questions. During my previous stay, the water dispenser was the standard filter type. I was pleasantly surprised this time to see that it has been upgraded to a Coway water dispenser — much more convenient and user-friendly! Special thanks to Senior Uncle Chong (Chong’s father), who is always warm, friendly, and caring. I truly enjoy our conversations — they are one of the highlights of my stay. It’s been a pleasure getting to know him, especially with him staying just next door to Chong’s house. I strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ipoh. It will definitely be my top choice again for future trips!

Awesome stay-cation for the small group traveling.

The place of stay is exactly how it was displayed in the photos. They were very understanding since one of us had a toilet emergency when we reached earlier than the check-in timing🙏🏻 We appreciate the responsiveness of the host! It is really worth the buck for groups of 4/6!

The airbnb is nearby lots of eateries. Big and spaces for group of friends or family. There are entertainment and board games provided too. A play area for kids is the plus point as the kids can have their a place to play. The host is responsive and came down and explain to us some of the things that need to take note. He also provides some recommendation on place of interest and food eateries.

Loved it. Everything was so neat and organized. Would definitely recommend this to anyone going to Ipoh. Ample space, very comfortable bedding. Kitchen is well stocked with basics. Amenities are clearly labeled. Had a pleasant stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, stylish, and very comfortable. The attention to detail really stood out, from the well-stocked kitchen to the cozy linens and thoughtful touches throughout the space. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed but quiet enough to relax. Communication with the host was seamless; they were responsive, helpful, and made check-in a breeze. I truly felt at home and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a stress-free and enjoyable stay!

Chi-Shan or Sandy was very responsive from the start and took the trouble to even send me a video of the neighbourhood. The house is so amazingly lovely, comfortable, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The additional touches of handcream, face mask, rose tea was a great delight. Loved the deco with a few books to sample upon too. Sandy also got the house cooled down when she knew we got stuck in traffic and would be reaching late. We even had a cute welcome with lighted words. Throughout our stay, she took the trouble to check on us to see if we needed anything else but since everything was laid out with very clear instructions on checking in and checking out, our stay was a breeze. I would highly recommend this unit for family/friends needing to stay out of the bustling Ipoh town but near enough to get and see what you need. No issues with catching a grab. We had a wonderful time and I would like to congratulate Sandy for having a beautiful home, one that I will stay again!

Beautiful and clean apartment with comfortable beds, nice little kitchen, cozy living and dining area. It has all the necessities eg. mini-fridge, water dispenser, robot vacuum cleaner, dish steriliser, hair dryer, etc. Ann, the host, was very responsive to all messages, communicates clearly and flexible with check in time. Definitely highly recommended!

Faa Yen’s place is the best Homestay I have stayed! The unit is squeaky clean and very very comfortable! We have spend 3 nights at Faa Yen’s place and we can’t wait for our next visit already!

Cosy, clean and well decorated home. Plus plus point when we knew the parking was nearby making it easy to unload and loading our stuff. Kiblat and prayer amenities are also provided. Thank you for making our short vacation in Ipoh a pleasant one.

Nice clean apartment in a fantastic location. Quiet since its on a high floor. A few good restaurants nearby. Try Wong's Cafe round the corner. Very nice coffee and reasonably priced Malaysian favourite dishes!

숙소에서 보이는 로스트 월드와 산 봉오리 뷰가 정말 멋집니다. 숙소는 아주 깨끗하고 잘 관리되고 있습니다. 호스트는 의사소통이 정확하고 빠릅니다. 단 하루를 묵었는데 가족들이 전부 며칠 더 머무를 걸 하는 후회를 하였습니다. 꼭 다시 오고 싶은 숙소입니다.

Perfect place i wish i can rate more than 5 stars. And credits to Samantha for being such a great host! My family of 6 had an amazing experience here. The unit was absolutely clean, stunning, with a beautifully designed interior that made us feel like we were in a magazine. Great aesthetic and thoughtful touches everywhere. The house smells good and the lightings created perfect ambiance too. It also has all the required neccesities, we don't actually mind to stay longer here on our next visit. A great place to unwind as nature is all around the area. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax in a gorgeous setting! Distance-wise, you can find anything you need within 5-10 minutes drive. It took us just about 10 minutes to reach the Lost World of Tambun. Overall, zero complaint and one of my favourite place in Airbnb thus far!

Very nice stay . The host very kind and responsive . The unit very clean, spacious and complete . Bed is clean as well the toilet . Aircond function well . Fridge, microwave and basic utensils are provided . Iron and hair dryer function well . Strategic location for those who want to food hunting . The guard also kind . Car park also easy access . So comfortable . Will repeat again next time .

Overall nice place for a family stay in Ipoh. Smooth check in process, clean spacious unit and great access to central attractions in Ipoh town. Very slight noise pollution from the nearby bars/KTV lounges but partly expected given the central location. Was not loud enough to keep my family and I up though. Highly recommended accommodation and host

We had a great stay here. Super clean house and bathroom. Kids corner also my kids enjoyed. Quite place. Check in and check out procedure was very easy and Cui Hing gave very clear instruction. Will come back again this place if we come to Ipoh.

I like to thank the host for being proactive and welcoming. We are really happy to be the guest of the house, that offers a breath-taking scenery all around. The stay is meant for a break of our journey and the experience is near perfect. The place is quite and relaxing with easy access to the many amenities not so far away.
