We were 6 ladies renting Eli their beautiful listing and having a little surprise party here for our best friend. The soulful and charming house is spacious with many beautiful rooms and absolutely beautifully decorated. We felt so incredibly at home in this quiet place, like a little oasis was. And all the beds were absolutely amazing to sleep in. We are already looking forward to revisiting the house:)

This lovely place was our home for almost a month. The location is central and the house very cozy. The mountains are your backyard and the sea right in front of you. We made several trips to the surrounding area, including freeskiing in the mountains, surfing in Hoddevik, Runde puffin island, city visit to Ålesund and hikes in the area. There are several rental saunas in the area, the nearest one is 5 minutes away. The house is well equipped. The hosts Anne-Mari and Terje are very helpful. Sometimes there was bass from the road from the youth's cars, but it didn't bother us too much. Would love to go back again!

We had a great vacation in a picturesque setting. The house has a great view of the fjord and is far enough away from water and road so that even small children can play peacefully. There are 3 floors and two bathrooms. The room layout is well thought out. The property is large and the outdoor facilities (grill, panoramic sauna and jacuzzi, seating) are a great addition. In the kitchen you will find everything you need. In addition, various games for all ages for rainy days. Directly behind the house there is a nice hiking trail on the mountain and also in the area various possibilities to explore the mountains. Shopping can be done by car and 5 minutes' drive. The Syltefjord was not very rich in fish for us, but the nearby Syvdefjord was. Here, there were also porpoises to watch daily and on the evening way home, red deer with calves could be seen in the meadows. We had a fantastic time.

Very great stay at Mari's apartment! Clean, comfortable and very cozy. We felt at home right away! Mari responded quickly to all inquiries and was flexible and very pleasant. We would gladly came back!

Close to town but far enough away for quiet rest.

Naina, We thoroughly enjoyed your warm and loving home. The kitchen was absolutely wonderful. However, what truly captured our hearts was your amazing garden—a paradise of comfort and tranquility. We could feel how much love and care for the details is being invested in this place from the first sight, and we immediately wanted to treat it the same way. Terje was a warm, caring and thoughtful host and we had an unforgettable weekend at his gorgeous place! Stunning views, beautiful nature and a perfect symbiosis between the old and the new. We‘d love to come back one day.

It is a wonderfully located cabin with unique views. Everything is also available in the kitchen. The Hytte is very lovingly furnished.

I would visit and recommend the place again at any time. Everything was very clean and the amenities were generous. The view of the mountains is beautiful.

We had some wonderful days in Otto's cabin! The cabin was perfect for the 4 of us: Spacious, lots of patio, lovely views and great nature. The weather also showed its best side. We would love to come back another time!

The location is fantastic; the cabin looks out over the fjord with an amazing view both from inside and from the deck. It is completely private, very quiet, yet only a short drive from "civilization". The furniture was exceedingly comfortable, both indoor and outdoor. The kitchen is fully-stocked with everything you might need and very functional. The entire cabin, despite looking small at first glance, is actually quite roomy. With 4 people, we had plenty of space, even on rainy days. The downstairs area also has a small covered patio (beneath the deck), and our teenagers enjoyed sitting out there when it was raining, just to be outside. Our kids also loved the fire-pit, roasting marshmellows and looking up at the stars. Overall, this is a fantastic cabin, and we would definitely stay again! Johanna and Siv Elin were a delight and super helpful (but not intrusive). The only tiny negative is that anyone tall has to watch their head on the stairs and in the bathroom.

As nice as always! We've stayed here several times for work, and it's been great every time. The apartment is clean, comfortable and has everything we need. Einar is a great host – always helpful and very quick to respond. Would highly recommend!

Nice and cosy appartment close to the sea :-) good place to start trips for example to the bird island Runde or to the interesting Herøy Kystmuseum!
