In a Faluröd log cabin on a farm you will have the opportunity to experience the best Dalarna has to offer. In the heart of Siljansnäs you will find this small farm cottage with room for three people. The cottage was renovated 2023, the bathroom 2018. Within walking distance there is a kiosk and grocery store and a little further up in the village there is a café, hotel and mini golf. 200 meters from the front door is Byrviken, an excellent swimming spot. Within a 20 minute drive there is also Tegera Arena, Granberget's ski slope and cross-country skiing.

The apartment has an amazing view over pastures and the river. You live right in the heart of Siljan's great cultural scene. Walking distance to swimming area. Cycling distance to Leksand city center. The apartment is located in the most beautiful village of the valleys. You charge your electric car for free with us. Note: 23 - 30 June we have a lower price. That week we carry hay so there is a large activity on the farm as well as a large drying fan that runs daytime from about 0900 - 1800. Large selection of sights and tourist attractions in the area. 7 min drive to the station and 3 min walk to bus.

You will leave the place in the same condition as i it was when you arrived. Guests cannot buy themselves free from cleaning beforeon departure.

On the enclosed porch, enjoy dinners from early spring to late fall, thanks to infrared heating. Inside, the fireplace is prepared for you to light, adding maximum coziness. Firewood is included! This is the perfect starting point for your excursions. Bed linen and towels are provided, and electric car charging is available.

On the farm, the host couple lives in the house and there is a large garden that provides privacy. The accommodation includes toilet, shower, sauna, charcoal grill and outdoor furniture. There is a double bed in a separate bedroom and sofa bed with two beds in the living room. Cleaning is not included in the price and should be done before checkout.

The cottage is located on our own plot (5,000 sqm) in the nice village of Sunnanäng, Leksand. The village is located along Siljan, by car it takes 4 minutes to Leksand Sommarland, 8 minutes to central Leksand and equally close to Tällberg.

Astrids stuga

Bo i en liten timmerstuga på vår gård! I en högt belägen lantlig dalaby, med hästar, höns, katter och hundar om knuten, ligger vår lilla gård. 1965 byggdes en liten stuga åt ägarens dotter Astrid, för att hon skulle kunna komma på besök. Astrid blev snart ägare av hela gården, och stugan kom inte att användas särskilt mycket. Fram tills nu!
