Mongolian Nomad Family

Fantastic time! We were met at the airport, there were no problems. We agreed on a schedule and places where we want to go in advance. Moved to the national park to ride horses. The owner turned out to be an excellent conversationalist and we heard a lot of information about Mongolia. After the park, we had a bite to eat with local cuisine and went to the statue of Genghis Khan. In the evening we reached the yurt. All evening spent at wonderful food, talking with family. Early in the morning we were taken to the airport for an early flight. Everything is very accurate and fast. We highly recommend it.

breathtaking view, amazing hospitality, great food and cute animals. there is no choice but to visit the ger and feel nature by yourself. this was actually the best and the most memorable part of my travel in Mongolia, and I can say the camp site is the perfect place to get away from it all. if you like nature or want to feel refreshed, Anuk's activities are highly recommended.

Sleeping in a ger in the middle of Mongolia is truly a once in a lifetime experience! It was fascinating to see first hand how the Nomad people live (and celebrate Lunar New Year), who's traditions and etiquette remain unchanged after thousands of years. I visited many Nomad families during my 4 day stay, all of whom were welcoming and friendly, offering me traditional Mongolian food such as Buuz (steamed dumplings), goats milk, horse milk, camel milk, cheese, sweets and plenty of vodka! The nomad family took me horse riding and camel riding (you need to pay extra), and we also visited a Tibetan Buddhist site in the mountains. I think Nandin has a few different gers scattered across Mongolia, so your experience may differ depending on the location, but I stayed in Kharkhorin, which took between 5 and 6 hours by bus from Ulaanbaatar. I didn't meet Nandin however she is an exceptional host who was always available and even went above and beyond to help arrange transport to the airport.

Mongolian horse.

I stayed 4 nights in traditional Mongolian yurt. Oyuntsetseg has provided to me airport pick up and city drop off services. She is really friendly and nice women, with good English and great knowledge about her country. You can ride a horse, milk a cow in her place. Also it is good spot for hiking. Oyuntsetseg also can organise any trips with reasonable pricing. You will enjoy by beautiful nature, delicious food and kind people around. Thank you!!!

호스트님과의 연락은 언제나 신속했습니다👍 생각보다 시설들이 괜찮았고, 온수가 제공되어 좋았습니다. 특히 관리인분이 친절하고 세심하게 잘 챙겨주셔서 너무 좋았습니다^-^ 식사는 거북이 바위를 보며 할 수 있습니다. 관리인분 덕분에 승마도 저렴한 가격에 즐길 수 있었고, 새벽에 우유 짜는 모습도 관람할 수 있었습니다. 공항에 새벽 도착이라 걱정했는데 픽업 서비스도 제공되어 좋았고, 특히 숙소 가는 길에 저희가 별을 잘 볼 수있게 좋은 장소에 내려도 주시고, 시내가는 길에는 테를지의 숨은 멋진 장소도 관광시켜주신 코치님 고마웠습니다. 😀 비수기라 관광객이 많지 않아 좋았습니다. 대신 식당도 대부분 영업을 안합니다. 미리 음식을 잔뜩 구매해서 이곳 숙소에서 다시 한번 더 몽골의 자연을 느끼고 싶습니다. 마을 분들이 모두 친절하게 대해줘서 테를지에서 2박은 기분 좋고 편안한 시간이였습니다.❤️

Boogi is very friendly and accommodating. Her apartment is conveniently located near the airport, so it is perfect for transitting in or out of the international airport without having to drive all the way into Ulaanbaatar. The place is clean and comfortable and only 15 minutes from the airport.

Tsegii und Erna sind super liebe, freundliche Gastgeber. Wir durften die ganze Wohnung alleine bewohnen und sie standen mit Tipps jederzeit zur Verfügung! Erka hat einen schönen Ausflug mit uns unternommen zu einem sehr guten Preis! Wenn man möchte bleiben sie auch mit einem im Appartment und ermöglichen so einen Einblick in das alltägliche mongolische Leben. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen! Vielen Dank!!

울란바토르에 있는 동안 많은 도움을 받았습니다. 공항 바로 근처라 다음날 아침에 다시 공항으로 나가야 했기 때문에 아주 훌륭한 선택이었습니다. 이 후에 다시 울란바토르로 돌아와서는 다른 호텔에 묵었지만 여행정보등을 많이 알려주었고 공항까지 픽업까지 해주었습니다. 호스트에게 감사합니다.
