Beachfront holiday rental in Tympaki

we had a great week at Maria's place. The covered terrace is the most beautiful room in the house with a magnificent view of the sea. The beach is less than 5 minutes' walk away, but beware, for people who have difficulty walking, the slope is rather steep to climb. Maria is very responsive and responds very quickly to messages. Agia Pelagia remains a small seaside resort very well located to visit the North of the island. Beautiful discovery

Perfect location, 20m to the beach, many restaurants, friendly people, parking spot bit tricky but never more than 200m. Communication perfect, very proactive. Exactly as the pictures shows.

We spent the most lovely time at Nikos place with our baby and friends. The villa is located directly by the sea with a spectacular view. We enjoyed really enjoyed our breakfasts watching the waves and listening to the ocean so much. The place is very quiet and private. Nikos is the most welcoming host and gave us great directions for the island. We can definitely recommend staying there! Thank you so much for having us.

Jeronimo is a really great host. Very, very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and welcome right away. The accommodation is beautifully located above the small Soudabucht with magnificent views. Two recommended taverns are within walking distance. Jeronimo's bar is also great and not to be missed. We can highly recommend the beautiful, simple but functional accommodation.

Close to the beach. Parking available. Apartment has everything you might need. Helpful host. Everything within walking distance, car is only needed for day trips. Nice toys for the kids. The only downside is that it is next to a busy road with the necessary noise.

This place and this town are absolutely magical. The 2.5 rooms are very comfortable for a couple. The bed was great and the ac was a welcome relief from the midday heat (early June). Our hosts were so great and generous with accommodation and treats! The Wi-Fi was slow at first but the hosts promptly had it addressed. It was improved after that, though it stayed slightly intermittent as is the case in much of Crete. The veranda was amazing and the location was perfect (off to the side, away from the other tavernas for a bit of quiet). Such a pleasure to be here. One of our all time favorite stays!

Excellent experience - 5 stars across the board! If you're looking for a quiet exclusive place to stay, that offers all amenities for a great price - this is it. High quality furnishings, perfectly clean, super friendly and attentive host, amazing location just a few steps from the beach, basically no traffic - all you hear is the ambient sound of the sea, great restaurants close by,... the list goes on. Highly recommend!

Incredible stay, stunning villa, lovely to walk into the little town, and a brand new restaurant opened called ‘Dusk’ a few minutes walk away which was 11/10. We adored the hot tub, luxury, all the little touches. Juicer for fresh orange juice and funky toaster. Thank you Crete is exquisite 💖💖💖

The stay was great! The place was very clean, well equipped and exactly as described in the photos. George was friendly, helpful and easily accessible. I would come back anytime absolutely recommended! There were little touches from George.

Antonis was incredibly nice, friendly and wanted you to have a lovely stay. The accommodation was very nice, modern and clean. We stayed at Casa Calma for a month and enjoyed every second. Panormos is a very nice and cozy village, everyone is friendly and there are many restaurants and shops. If you are going to Crete, we really recommend Casa Calma and Panormos!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was better than expected! The location was great, we had easy beach access to a relatively quiet part of the beach. There were loads of great restaurants near us and we could walk into the town centre within 35 mins. Lovely amenities and very clean. Beautiful view of the ocean and square from our window. Pool was great with a lovely bar. Check-in was very easy and the staff at the hotel were very friendly. We would 100% recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Rethimno and looking to have a peaceful area to stay and don’t mind walking into town.

The villa is lovely and has everything you need for a holiday. Clean and well maintained. There was extra cleaning during the week. Great view of the sea and the mountains. The cars passing on the main road, which is 100m below the villa, create a slight noise, but it is not unbearable. Maria is a great host and despite the late evening time of arrival she was waiting for us with a smile. She took care of us all the time and gave us valuable advice. There was a problem with the dishwasher, which was fixed the next day as soon as I informed Maria. We had a great week and would come back again.

What a fantastic experience we had during our stay at this beautiful villa in South Crete! Everything exceeded our expectations. From the moment of arrival, it was immediately noticeable how extremely neat and hygienic everything was. The villa was really sparkling clean and taken care of down to the last detail. Everything you can think of was there – from utensils to beach towels – which made us feel right at home and completely relax. The hospitality of the host was extraordinary. He was always available for questions, gave us great tips about the area and made sure we really lacked nothing. What a warm welcome and service! The location of the villa is also absolutely a plus: beautiful in a quiet area, with stunning views and yet close to the most beautiful beaches and charming villages. In short, we had a dream vacation. A special word of thanks to the host for the perfect welcome.

What a wonderful place! If you are stressed by work, in need of something peaceful, extremely beautiful and in harmony with the nature, this is the right place for you. Don't miss the opportunity to stay here, meeting the cute cats ( please feed them :), enjoy the surrondings and if you like to swim, the beach just 10 minutes walking distance is perfect for you. I swam 5 kilometers and enjoyed after that the beautiful bar and restaurant close to the house. RECOMMENDED!

Amazing place to stay for some relaxation. The room is very clean and has a beautiful view on the sea, and the shower was super nice and warm. The hostess Maria was very nice and was always ready to help us. There’s a small restaurant nearby called Maria (a different Maria), and she makes the best food and is incredibly nice. Our stay here was amazing!

Very spacious, modern apt with a beautiful balcony. The street noise below made it difficult to sit out and talk there, but the view of the ocean was very nice. Well appointed kitchen. Very clean and neat. Mihalis gave us a great recommendation for dinner nearby that was lovely. We had a nice stay here

The stay in the beautiful cottage with breathtaking views of the sea and the caves of Matala was simply sensational! This view is absolutely worth the steep climb, so be sure to bring good shoes. Sofia is a warm and very attentive hostess, responds quickly and had prepared small delicacies for the reception. The cottage simply has everything you need, very cozy with attention to detail. Now I also understand why this house is almost always occupied.😉 In the evening, it can get a bit louder when the live music is playing, but you know that when you go to Matala.

Niki and Cristos were really lovely and friendly hosts. Fresh flowers, homemade biscuits and cake, wine etc were provided and left in the apartment. The apartment was bright and clean. They treated us as family and really made us feel at home. Surrounded by the most amazing mountains. Beautiful people on beautiful Bali. What more could you ask for? Eif charisto! No complaints! Location in the heart of Matala but very quiet in the morning! Unusual place at the foot of the chapel! Small terrace to enjoy breakfast or a quiet evening to the sound of concerts from the bar restaurant nearby. The sea is a stone's throw away! The host is always present when needed to make our stay perfect. Small gifts await us on our arrival, very nice... we will come back with great pleasure 🏵️

What a wonderful apartment! The location was perfect for a weekend beach getaway. Everything was very clean and in great condition. Very special thanks to Maria for the cheese pies she dropped off to us for breakfast one morning, they were delicious! Overall it was fantastic place and we'll definitely consider returning in the future. Thanks again for everything!

Very nice studio overlooking the sea and mountains. There is another studio for rent in the same house right next door and an apartment downstairs. The landlady is very nice and made sure we didn't miss anything. The place was very clean and you can walk to the beach, or to the taverns in the village. However, a car is an advantage (parking right in front of the house).

The accommodation was unique in its location. Around the apartment, you can enjoy the wide sea view on the terrace. In addition, the apartment is really equipped with all the amenities, so you feel right at home. The attentions you receive at the beginning of your stay were also particularly noteworthy. Thanks to this Airbnb, we had a wonderful holiday and were able to completely relax and enjoy the sea. Finally, it should be said that this apartment was one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in.
