It’s attached to the main building but has its own entrance and no shared internal spaces. It offers 1 bedroom with ensuite, a bright open-plan living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a covered deck with peaceful views over farmland, forest and water. Ideal for 2 guests (sleeps up to 4). Note: a CCTV camera at the front of the property that monitors the driveway for safety.

Blackwood "Treetops"

An almost entirely open plan house with a vast master bedroom upstairs and a bunk room downstairs, the house sleeps up to six, with a modern kitchen, wood fire, outside deck and large garden, set close by the Wombat State Forest. Suitable for children over five. Pet friendly. Blackwood 'Treetops' is also work friendly as the house has a large desk with landline and internet access. Due to the coronavirus, we are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

Cosy Bungalow in Woodend town

Only 700m from the Woodend main street you can leave the car behind to enjoy the delights of this tourist hotspot on foot or take the car to explore Hanging Rock, Mt Macedon, Daylesford and Macedon Ranges. Beautiful walks directly opposite and your own private bungalow to return to. Our cosy Bungalow is perfect for couples or a single person and we are usually ok with 1 visiting pet (if cat and dog friendly) We have a Border Collie and 2 cats so let us know if we need to keep them contained.

We are just a short walk from Malmsbury Railway Station. This region hosts Castlemaine Art Festival, Harcourt Apple Fest . Great restaurants, cafes in nearby historic Piper St Kyneton and Malmsbury farmers market. This is an area not to be missed located 55 minutes from Melbourne and just 25 minutes to Daylesford.

Trentham, Woodend, Kyneton, Daylesford and Malmsbury are all within 20min from The Cottage. Stroll down Piper St in Kyneton for a spot of shopping or a lazy lunch at one of the many fabulous cafes or restaurants. Perhaps a round of golf at the picturesque Trentham Golf Course. Or Daylesford Market is always a winner!
