Susan has a beautiful, well-kept home on a lovely quiet street. She was super responsive and the place was a comfortable retreat where we were able to relax and feel totally at home from the moment we walked in the door. It was spotless and very well appointed, with everything we needed. We’d definitely recommend the House of the Blue Doors, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Thanks so much, Susan!

Wonderful stay with comfortable beds, great communication, Tea/coffee for the morning, new everything, and really clean. We appreciated Ben's responsiveness and that he went above and beyond to accommodate us for our 3 night stay. It is right near the U of W - Whitewater but quiet in the apartment. There was only some noise at night upstairs one of the nights. However, a quick text to Ben and he worked with them to get it quiet again. SO appreciated this stay and Ben's hosting skills! THANK YOU!

This is our second stay here and it felt like coming home! The space is very comfortable and had everything we needed. We are coming back for a third stay very soon.

This place was just perfect what we needed! It had nice beds and love that the couch pulled out as well. The kitchen pans could use a little updating but the kitchen and tools were great for the meals I wanted to cook. I replaced and added to the spice assortment as well! The parking is somewhat wonky but doable. I love they had laundry so I was able to clean all of our clothes before leaving. It is close enough to the base if you’re going for graduation, and Libertyville was great too. There is an apt above and it can get quite loud at times but all in all, we had an enjoyable stay! I will totally seek this place out again!

Craig was extremely nice and accommodating when it came to my birthday weekend. He responds quickly to all questions asked and makes sure we’re comfortable at all times. This home was clean, accurately described, and had the perfect “home feeling”. Overall, when visiting the area I will be booking here again !

It was a great stay and very close to the train station which was a plus. A good ideal spot if you want to walk downtown to grab a bite. The place is quiet and perfect for a pair, me and my partner really enjoyed the stay. Thank you so much for having us!

Had a lovely stay at Mary’s place! Mary is extremely responsive and kind. Location was a quick few stops from downtown Evanston, just be mindful of weekend bus schedules if coming without a car. Overall a good stay!

Feb 26 - Mar 1 We were very grateful for David for approving our last minute reservation for the wonderful home. We flew to Chicago for my youngest brother’s Navy Graduation and what awaited us was the most pleasant experience and coziest warm home. Everything from the communication to experiencing the actual place is spot on. We would love to spend another trip to that same place when we come back for my second brother’s graduation. We highly recommend this place 10/10. Thank you again for David for hosting me and my family.

It was exactly what we were looking for. Very quiet with beautiful views. Being able to sit in the hot tub and take in the sunset was incredible. Any questions we had were answered quickly by this very kind host.

This was the perfect home base for a work trip with 5 coworkers! Everything was as promised or better. Great quiet neighborhood location with easy access to highway. Perfect communication by the host. Already looking forward to staying here next time we come to town!

Plenty of room to eat and hang out for bigger families. Great basement with games and toys for kids-adults. Well stocked for cooking at home. Comfortable beds and multiple bathrooms very convenient for groups.

The house is in a neighborhood of nice homes, peaceful and walkable. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was so well organized with everything you need and the bathrooms were spotless. It’s in a perfect location to restaurants. Highly recommend and will reserve again.

It's a huge and enjoyable property! We had a great time, and our group (11 people) had plenty of room to sleep, eat, and hang out without feeling cramped. I'd recommend this place to someone hosting a large group like 10+, that wants to stay in Rockford!

Enjoyed a comfortable stay. I slept well, appreciated the kitchen and spent hours in the sunroom with the windows open and a perfect breeze.

Great spot! The condo was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Mandy’s detailed directions and instructions made checking in a breeze. Our group of four had a fantastic time.

Joan's daughter, Rebekah, communicated directly with me through the Airbnb app. She provided detailed check-in instructions, a phone number to contact her, etc. It seems Rebekah lives in Hawaii so please keep note of that for response times, etc. The house was comfortable, very clean, and well-appointed. Joan and Rebekah have a beautiful collection of original art, artifacts, etc. so please keep that in mind if you are bringing small children to the home. Please note that the 1st floor bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom; and the lower level has 2 twin beds in the open area, 1 full bed and 1 twin bed in the first bedroom, and 1 full bed and 1 futon in the second bedroom (including a full laundry and utility room in a closed room).

Nick's rental is conveniently located, clean, and well-appointed. I had a minor maintenance issue and was very impressed with how quickly the issue was resolved.

We loved our stay at this beautiful location. It was close by to everything we wanted to do and the condo was exactly what we were hoping for! Rachel gave great recommendations and was so responsive to our questions. We will definitely stay here again!

The place was a like a little piece of Paris at Lake Geneva. Very thoughtfully decorated and meticulously clean. Walkability score is 100+. We will definitely make this our go to place in Lake Geneva!

Really nice place, to have you and your family stay at for a couple of days or even a week ! a lot of good restaurants close by and area is safe would definitely come back if i travel to Chicago again

If you're looking for a relaxing, peaceful yet close to everything getaway....Samantha's place is it!! From the minute you walk into the Cove, you guide yourself straight into a restful oasis. Entering Samantha's place, I was amazed at how spacious it all was. From the very modern kitchen, all of the utensils and kitchen necessities to the wide tub in the bathroom and big bed in the bedroom, everything felt like home. Relaxing in the living room with a beautiful view to the outdoors and the balcony was enjoyable. I highly recommend Samantha's place for your next stay in Lake Geneva.
