Fantastic spot. Great host. Couldn’t ask for more. One tip would be to bring a light / lantern of some kind for the evening!

Our stay was nothing short of perfection. The cottage is right by the river, with a fire pit just outside. It’s beautifully furnished. We really enjoyed our time canoeing in the river, and sitting by the fire pit in the evening. Melissa is a great host and shared great recommendations for nearby places to visit. We hope to go back soon again!

Happy to share a few things for any future visitor; Here are the takeaways from a 3n4d stay: -Great access to town <5 to Tweed -Wineries (PEC, Belleville, Tweed) within 1 hour -Beautiful Parks to Hike! Within an hour or less (recommend Bon Echo) -Celiac Friendly! Breakfast was good & CinnaBuns! -Great amount of amenities on site - tub, bbq, outdoor lounge, firepit, games, tv, wifi -Highly communicative host, responsive & attentive -Be respectful of the rules, as with any AirBnB it should be treated a little more like home and a little less like a hotel if it’s a Bed & Breakfast. This was for a friend retreat with a mix of activities, we enjoyed a lot in the area & still more to see, like a dark sky viewing area not far away. We appreciated the attention to detail such as allergies or extra blankets. There is on site presence, so one might recommend being respectful outside especially when voices carry. Awesome for a couple or a few friends as it’s great as a quiet retreat.
