Flamingo Villas - Grand Turk #1

We had an amazing vacation at flamingo villas. It was so easy for us to settle in and relax. The property is exactly as shown. It’s two floors with the kitchen, living room and 1/2 bath on the main floor and a patio door to the porch and stairs to the small shared pool. The pool is small but it’s cleaned daily and it was enough for our two boys. If you’re concerned about the size of the pool don’t be, the ocean is just steps away. Access to the beach isn’t the best but once you hit the sand it’s worth it. You can walk the beach to a less rocky area in less than a minute. The kitchen offered everything we needed to prepare our meals and a table for four. The living space is spacious with a love seat and oversized single chair with a tv. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms each with its own patio and direct access to a 3 pcs bathroom. There are beaches, restaurants, bars and shops a short walk in either direction. I recommend renting a golf cart to explore the whole island.

Our second visit to Kathrins Airbnb. The apartment is as beautiful an clean as shown in the the pictures. There was only two of us but would be comfortable for two couples. The Airbnb is only a two - three minute walk to the beach which is gorgeous!! On the beach to the left 1 minute down is great snorkeling and 2 minutes to the right is Beaches resort - so you know you are staying on a top notch beach area. The privacy and safety of the Airbnb is a comfortable feeling. The Airbnb is in a gated area. kathrin and Marcus were available to answer any questions we had concerning restaurants or places to visit. The only comment I would make is that they are building so much in the area that there is some construction noise and a higher amount of traffic this time than last. I however will definitely be back as it was not a big deal to us. Wonderful hosts, Airbnb and area!!!!!

Flamingo Villas - Grand Turk is a definite home away from home for the entire family. The basement unit provides the advantage of an additional booking space for larger size families to visit together. The property sits between the romantic Duke Street, and the silky white beach laced with turquoise waters. Accentuated with a swimming pool, the Bermudian style built property has an upper and lower level with an inviting and riveting view and close proximity to most restaurants.
