Nice old granny

A warm, cozy cottage, close to fishing, berry picking and hunting grounds The cottage is located in a village of 4 permanent residents called Äijäjoki, there are several cottages in the village. The cottage, actually a house, has been somewhat renovated but still needs a little bit of work, but it feels cozy, like a granny's house. Right next to the house there is a river that can be seen from the terrace of the outdoor sauna, the Rajajoki river is nearby. The rent includes linen, snowshoes and forest boots for four, as well as sleds and kick sleds.

Hut Eno - atmospheric cottage

Hut Eno is a Scandinavian, stylish and atmospheric cottage on the river bank, in its own peace in Finnish Lapland. Large windows bring the surrounding forest and nature close to every room. The soothing flow of the river relaxes you all the way to the sofa. The glow of the fireplace warms both the cottage and the visitor's mind. Take a wander down the road to the local reindeer farm or village bar for kicks or inspiration. An open view to the north for general skygazing (and northern lights, if you're lucky) awaits out the backdoor.

Hiljaisuuden kylän mökit ovat käsin veistetty 30 vuotta sitten. Vuonna 2023 mökit ovat täysin uudistettu. Mökistä löytyy oma wc, kahvinkeitin, vedenkeitin, mikro ja jääkaappi. Mökin terassilta löytyy puulla lämmitettävä kylpytynnyri. Kylpytynnyri on erikseen tilattavissa. Alueella on päärakennus josta löydät a-oikeuksilla varustetun ravintolan, jossa tarjoillaan aamiainen sekä valmistetaan tilauksesta päivällistä. Päärakennuksessa myös erilliset wc:t ja suihkut naisille ja miehille.

Master bedroom has one double bed, second bedroom has two sigle beds. Upstairs, at the loft, there are two double beds and 6 single mattresses to spread on to lofts floor.

From the cottage, you can easily get to the nearby ski trails, winter trails or sledding trail, as well as mountain biking, hiking or to Äkäsjoki. You can end an active day in the sauna. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, drying cabinet and TV, as well as shared Internet access with Wifi. Final cleaning is included in the price.
