In the summer, you can take a dip in the river in the backyard, and there are long planks from the cottage to the beach. 200m away is Äkäsjoki, and a 15-minute drive away is one of Europe's best salmon rivers, Torniojoki. It's easy to relax in this unique and peaceful holiday destination. The cottage is located on the shore of Lake Ounasjoki. Behind the river is Aakenustunturi. The cottage has electric heating, a wood stove and a fireplace. The sauna is heated with wood, which is also located in the same building. Access to the sauna is via the terrace. Water for the sauna is collected from the river with buckets and heated with wood in the sauna pad. The property has a very clean outdoor toilet with no heating. Ice hole in the river open in winter.

The kitchen has a coffee maker, kettle, oven/stove, range hood and refrigerator. Pre-made beds, towels and final cleaning included. Please note! The upstairs sleeping area is less than 120 cm high, so the property is NOT suitable for people with reduced mobility! Also, the stairs are not child-safe.
