A self-sustainable place that uses solar power, composting toilet, gas cooking and fresh tank water. Leave your devices at home (there is no 240v power to plug into) and just let go! Note: There is phone reception.

'The Boathouse' Waterfront Studio, Swansea Heads.

2 PEOPLE MAXIMUM NO CHILDREN NO PETS NO COOKING INSIDE The Guesthouse is located on Salts Bay at Swansea Heads. Although it is on our property, it is completely separate to our house, with a private, waterfront entrance. Access is through our front gate, down a sloping path and a flight of stairs. Unfortunately is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Street parking is available. Free use of kayaks. You can swim directly in front of the studio, or from the sandy beach 100m away.

This fully self-contained 2 bedroom apartment is accessed via steps leading up to your private verandah with river views. There is direct access to the adjoining nature reserve with a pretty walking trail. Tuggerah Lake is directly behind the property. There is a public jetty and boat ramp half way down the road. Waterfront Treehouse on the Hawkesbury River

Surrounded by national parkland on the Hawkesbury River, the Treehouse is an architecturally designed red-cedar cottage set high on the riverbank with a private jetty and spectacular water views. The two queen beds are furnished with luxurious cotton and Belgian linen. The main bedroom is on a mezzanine level and overlooks the living area which has a slow-combustion fire. Perfect in summer or winter. (Sunday check-out is 5pm.)
