This is a fully DIY sauna, developed entirely by JP from design to production, featuring a unique shape that allows heat to circulate naturally.Enjoy a sauna experience you can’t get anywhere else, while being enveloped by the gentle warmth of the wood-burning stove. Inside the room, there is also a traditional Japanese irori (hearth) typical of old Japanese houses. You can experience traditional Japanese living, such as sharing a hotpot around the irori (traditional hearth) or grilling skewers. *Please bring your own cooking utensils, such as ingredients and skewers. The accommodation is located in a quiet hamlet called ‘Kobo’, nestled among the mountains in Misasaki, Okayama Prefecture. Surrounded by rich mountains, the facility has 2 spacious Japanese-style rooms, a kitchen fully equipped with cooking utensils, a bathroom with a hot water heater and shower, and a Western-style toilet. This is a private farmhouse, so you can easily stay with family and friends. It is also recommended for families who want to play in nature with their children, experience the countryside, and teach their children how to play. The Kaji area where the facility is located is a mountainous area located in the northern part of Okayama prefecture and the northern part of Mimasaka city. In the winter, it snows, and it is a natural source village embraced by the Chugoku Mountains, where you can feel the changes of the four seasons. [Konohanou] The beginning and the idea behind the launch This project progressed with the feeling that everything was falling into place like a puzzle. The house was completed with the support of many people, and it was filled with joy and excitement without any hard work. We are having an indescribably pleasant time. I would like to invite those who are considering moving to Mimasaka City, Okayama to try living here. And I hope it will be a cozy second home for everyone. I've been doing a lot of things, like mixing a little bit of bacteria into the diatomaceous earth, burying crystal balls under the floor, and other things I've come up with.
