The standout feature of this accommodation is its one-of-a-kind ‘egg sauna’. This is a fully DIY sauna, developed entirely by JP from design to production, featuring a unique shape that allows heat to circulate naturally.Enjoy a sauna experience you can’t get anywhere else, while being enveloped by the gentle warmth of the wood-burning stove. Inside the room, there is also a traditional Japanese irori (hearth) typical of old Japanese houses. You can experience traditional Japanese living, such as sharing a hotpot around the irori (traditional hearth) or grilling skewers. *Please bring your own cooking utensils, such as ingredients and skewers. The accommodation is located in a quiet hamlet called ‘Kobo’, nestled among the mountains in Misasaki, Okayama Prefecture. [Konohanou] The beginning and the idea behind the launch This project progressed with the feeling that everything was falling into place like a puzzle. The house was completed with the support of many people, and it was filled with joy and excitement without any hard work. We are having an indescribably pleasant time. I would like to invite those who are considering moving to Mimasaka City, Okayama to try living here. And I hope it will be a cozy second home for everyone. I've been doing a lot of things, like mixing a little bit of bacteria into the diatomaceous earth, burying crystal balls under the floor, and other things I've come up with.
