Das Haus mit seinen 100 m² und ca. 130 Jahre alten Mauern haben wir 2021 von Grund auf renoviert. Auf der kleinen, schattigen Terrasse lässt sich der Tag mit einem schönen Frühstück beginnen. Von der Dachterrasse hat man dann den Blick auf Dorf, Meer und dem Berg im Rücken – Ideal für den Sundowner.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was absolutely beautiful – very private, with a lovely pool and stunning views. It was the perfect spot to relax. The host, Illias, was great – friendly, helpful, and always available if we needed anything. Everything was just as described, if not better. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Jest to stary grecki dom, którego przednią, oddzielną część zajmuje rodzinna, kameralna tawerna Nico. Dom jest przestronny, ma duży taras z przepięknym widokiem na góry, położony w niedużym ogrodzie z figami, orzechami, granatami i limonkami. Zarakes to prawdziwa grecka wieś z niezwykle przyjaznymi ludźmi, wspaniałymi tawernami i cudownymi krajobrazami. W niedalekiej odległości od domu znajdują się przepiękne plaże Evii. W Zarakes znajdziejsz wszystko, czego potrzeba: sklep, kawiarnie, restauracje, piekarnię, aptekę i kościół.

Wirklich eine tolle Unterkunft, nur der Weg zur Unterkunft ist nicht ganz so toll aber der Strand und die Ausstattung war super. Der Gastgeber hat auf alle Fragen sehr zügig geantwortet. Würde die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Geweldige locatie van waaruit we midden en zuid Evia verkend hebben, zoveel moois te zien. Na een dagtrip heerlijk thuiskomen in het fijne huis en de studio waar alles voorhanden is voor een aangenaam verblijf. Odile is een hartelijke vrouw die altijd voor haar gasten klaar staat. Aanrader qua restaurants vinden wij Ταβέρνα Παλυβός en visrestaurant Meintanis super. En Φούρνος Κανέλλου bakkerij is fantastisch. Venus Beach is een aanrader voor een dagje heerlijk relaxen aan zee.

The Stone House

This little cottage was ideal for us, a couple seeking quiet nights and days; the terrace is lovely day and night, under one of the more beautiful olive trees overlooking the Aegean, under the moon or at sunset. The house to us was much more beautiful than the photos. Antony was so hospitable and gave us local secrets. His family lives nearby which gives a wonderful feeling of safety and community. We had a small car which was great on the little roads. We couldn’t recommend this place more for those seeking quiet days near a low key town with affordable restaurants, and both beautiful organized (very close) and wild (require a bit more effort to get to) beaches.
