Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Enjoy Hurtigruta sailing in from the sofacorner and hear waves lapping outside. The entrance is part of a glazed terrace with views to the south. The center is a 10-minute walk away. The apartment is open, inviting, and a nice & comfortable place to spend your time. Age limit to rent: minimum 25 years. NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND.

Helt ny og moderne leilighet med fantastisk sjøutsikt. Den har to soverom, et bad, stue og kjøkken. Begge soverommene har dobbeltseng med en vakker utsikt mot havet. Sengene vil være oppreid ved ankomst. Store og små håndduker vil være tilgjengelig. Leiligheten har vask/tørketrommel fritt til disposisjon for gjestene. Utenfor leiligheten er det fantastiske steder hvor man kan se nordlys, i tillegg kan du se det fra din helt egen balkong. Du vil få tilsendt et kart med plasser å se nordlys på!

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

The Fjellheisen cable car is just a 5-minute walk away, the Arctic Cathedral about 6 minutes, and the nearest bus stop only 3 minutes from the apartment. From there you have easy connections to Tromsø city centre and the airport. The apartment is a perfect base for guests who want to stay close to iconic landmarks, hiking trails, and nature while still having access to restaurants, shops, and cultural experiences in the city.

Det er en sentral og moderne panorama leilighet på toppen av Tromsø med store vinduer i et stille boligområde med lite trafikk. Leiligheten er fullt møblert med alt av kjøkkenutstyr, bad, peis, sengetøy, håndklær, soverom med komfortabel 150 cm bred seng og romslig garderobe. Det er 20 min gangavstand til sentrum, 10 min til matbutikk, 5 min til Skoglyst bussholdeplass med hyppige bussforbindelser til flyplass, sentrum, UNN/UiT og fjellheisen. Taxi til flyplassen tar 10 minutter.

This unique newly refurbished apartment is close to everything, making it easy to see the best Tromsø has to offer. In addition, you can enjoy the view of the city, Tromsø bridge and the Artic Cathedral from the terrace. Great sunny conditions in the summer and opportunities to see the northern lights in the winter. 5 minutes’ walk to the Cable car, Sherpa stairs and the Arctic Cathedral. Bus stop 250 meters, or you can walk 20 minutes across the Tromsø Bridge to the city center.

Cathedral Lodge

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available. This is the perfect place to stay in Tromsø. Welcome!
