Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Tromsdalen

It was an enjoyable stay with good view of the fjord :) The kitchen was also well-stocked and we enjoyed cooking and lounging around.

The home was really beautiful and as described. The star of the home was the steam shower that was perfect after a long day of hiking. The couch was also large. Jarl was really flexible for our check in and out, plus was really fast to respond especially as we arrived which was helpful. You are only a thirty minute walk into town, so very close to all the bakeries and restaurants. Area is quiet, and one of the bedrooms is really dark which is great for the midnight sun.

Dear Tina, We loved „Solli“, your arctic paradise at the sea. So much space and light because of the glassfront towards the fjord. Spectacular view and best private Sauna we ever saw. Everything around the house was so easy, thanks also to the perfect information about everything there was to know you and René provided beforehand and your quick responses whenever we had a question. Even though the house is not „infant safe“ we managed pretty good travelling with a 17 month old boy, since there were no stairs inside going down and the upward ones we could block and since it was summer season no need to use the fireplace. Plenty of room to play in the living room. The kitchen was equipped perfetly. Even a bedroom with the greatest view. We stayed with 3 (and a half😉) generations and everyone loved it. A very cozy and warm place to return to after exploring snowy Tromsø. It is close to several bus stops in addition to the cable car you can take up the mountain to get a scenic view. Overall a great place to stay!

The house is very convenient and the view is spectacular. Most of the time we were in the house was in the armchairs observing the landscape. When we arrived at the house it was warm for what is appreciated with the cold and snow outside. The arrival at the house was a little chaotic since we didn't know where it was going in, the road and stairs were completely covered with snow and after discovering where it was, it was a challenge to climb with my bags and with my mom with problems on her knees, but I was able to use a shovel to clear the way a little. Now we laugh about that but at the time of arrival and snowing it was not very nice jajaj. Regardless of that, Trude was always attentive to my questions and very willingly. There is a bus stop nearby that takes you to the city center but crossing the bridge on foot you can also. And the cable car is close by walking as well. I would stay here again next time, thank you for everything!

Beautiful place. You can find everything you need. The bedding is quality. The view of Tromsø is splendid. The host is available and responsive. The accommodation is well located, you can get to the city center in a few minutes by bus or car. And as a bonus, we had the chance to observe northern lights from the balcony. We recommend this place without hesitation!

We booked this property 4 months in advance and at that time it had only one review. We trusted it and we were not wrong. The apartment is new and bigger than it appears in the pictures. It is bright, comfortable and has a 5 star view of the fjord. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking.The bathroom is large and has many places to put your thing.This is one of the top 3 Airbnb accommodations we have stayed in. And especially because of the hosts! Wonderful people willing to help with anything you need. They waited for us with warm cakes just out of the oven. We found essential things for breakfast in the fridge. Even though the weather was not on our side and it snowed almost every day, Jann cleared the snow from the parking lot and offered to take us wherever we wanted. Although we didn't see the Northern Lights in all their magic, it was worth traveling 5000km one way to meet wonderful people. Thank you Reidun & Jann! We hope to return soon. Gina & Dan - Romania

Charming and functional apartment, ideally located: 5 min walk from the city centre, well served (many buses nearby). Ørjan has always been very responsive 😃 We had a pleasant week and can only recommend you to stay there, you will not be disappointed!

The apartment is modern and clean, and it’s in a very nice area with good transport links to the city centre. The bed is a sofa bed but it is comfortable enough for a short stay. The host responds quickly and gives clear instructions, a very smooth experience overall!

Great functionally furnished apartment. The view is breathtakingly beautiful and the city centre is within easy walking distance. We had a great time. Bettina was always available and took very good care. Great location

Karsje’s place is just amazing in one word. The place is so cozy offering amazing views of Tromso. The space was perfect for 5 of us including our 5 year old son. The house had a well structured instruction manual so that we didn’t have to bother the host a lot, but still they were very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of utensils so that you could cook without any hassle. There is a car parking available and also the bus stop is just a 10 minutes walk from the house. Just keep in mind that the house in a quite neighbourhood a bit away from the city, so you will have to travel a bit to find restaurants and supermarkets ( 10 minutes with a car or 15-20 minutes with bus). We enjoyed the stay a lot and would recommend it to anyone who visits Tromso.

Amazing place! Gorgeous views across the water from the living room windows. Easy walk (or bus) into the centre of town. Also nice having a grocery store 3 minutes away. Charlotte was super friendly and the apartment had all the basics for a stay (laundry detergent, coffee, etc.). Was a perfect base for my short stay in Tromsø.

I loved staying at Henriette’s place! Easy access to the city via bus (which came pretty often + few bus options) and the studio was perfect for my needs as a solo traveler. Henriette was also super helpful - she allowed me to leave my bags at her place when I got to Tromso in the morning and even offered to let me borrow winter boots when it was snowing hard. Great host, great stay!

Great stay! Check-in was seamless, and the location was excellent—just a short walk to the city center, Main Street, and the cathedral. The room was small but well-equipped and perfect for a short stay. The highlight was spotting the Northern Lights from the rooftop terrace—a fantastic bonus! Would definitely recommend.

On the way back from the Lofoten to Tromsö, we made a stop here for the last 2 days before the plane left. Great apartment, everything was available that was necessary for a pleasant stay. It was one of the most beautiful holiday apartments we've ever had !! Thank you very much for this, we enjoyed it here very much!!

I really enjoyed my stay at Tea's place. The location is fantastic, only a 5 minute walk to the centre of town. The place is small but perfect for solo travelers or a couple. Comfortable bed, great shower and well-equipped kitchen (including coffee maker). And Tea was very helpful with any issues. I highly recommend if you are looking for central and comfortable place to stay in Tromso

We’ve used this Airbnb after our flight to Tromsø airport. Was great for a nights stay.

Quiet location, short walking distance to the city centre and the shop open on Sundays. Very good bed, nice living room with access to Netflix and kitchenette with both coffee and tea available! I could hear from the floor above, but it didn't bother me as it was quiet from the evening! The bathroom is a little worn, but okay! All in all, a very nice experience and I will gladly come back!

We had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was exactly as described and the surrounds were beautiful. Thomas is an amazing host, helping us out with local recommendations and information. Would highly recommend (especially for those with children).
