Staying at Chris’s place is like going back in time but with the modern conveniences! It is absolutely lovely and right in the middle of town. Nice touches like local handmade chocolates and coffee. Chris is easy to communicate with and offers lots of suggestions. I highly recommend Chris’s place.

We had three enjoyable nights in Port Rexton. Matt’s place, the 1960 version of the old Ploughman homestead, was like going back to grandma’s house…very vintage but with modern conveniences and a fantastic view. We had a great sleep in the comfy bed with absolute silence. Port Rexton Brewing and the Skerwink Trail are both within walking distance, as well as Devil’s Cove, just across the road. It was very handy to be able to do a load of washing. We loved our time here and would highly recommend staying.

This stay was better than expected. We got to stay in pod 3 and the view was spectacular! It was such a clean and cozy spot. I liked the main house too; you get your own locked cabinet and your own beautiful bathroom. Would love to stay here again for longer!

We enjoyed our stay and were able to walk around to all the historical sites. Just a couple of small disappointments - there is no grocery or liquor store, and not much is open for breakfast in this part of the town. (Not Kelly's fault of course) We would have appreciated some shelf space or more hangers in the bathrooms, and maybe a luggage rack in the bedrooms; but overall it was a great place to stay. We really appreciated the local coffee in the kitchen! Thank you.

This was our second visit to what is one of our all time favourite BnBs. Our hostess/chef/story teller Alma is an absolute treasure and a truly down home tell-it like-it is Newfie lady. Bottom line …. Compass is ***** Stars all the way.
