Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Trappitello

We came by taxi from the airport. Antonietta waited for us in the apartment and told us about what we saw around us, gave tips on restaurants and told us about dishes you should try when you are in Aci Castello. The apartment was well equipped, but we were probably too late to use the mosquito spray. Walking distance to Aci Trezza and Catania is also not far away (by bus). After purchasing swimming shoes, we tried a small swim in the sea that lies just below the apartment. Here it must be said that we had problems both getting in and out of the sea due to large rocks that had to be forced. The apartment is well equipped and we bought food and ate breakfast "at home", also made a couple of dinners in the city to eat out. The terrace was fantastic and we sat outside all the time, except when we wanted to watch the national match between Norway and Italy (which Norway won). I highly recommend both the location and the apartment.

We were floating above the rooftops of Catania in this great apartment. Amazing view over the city, in the middle of it and therefore everywhere on foot. Great instructions from Anna, amenities exactly as described before. The roof terrace was our highlight with great plants and sun all day long. Warmest recommendation, we'd love to come back! :)

This apartment was absolutely perfect for us ☺️ a 15 minute walk from central Taormina - a great location for our hikes and exploring the local area. It was very easy to get into Taormina for the restaurants etc, but with the benefit of being able to escape the crowds after! The apartment itself was spotless, everything looked brand new. Good shower with good water pressure too. Roberto and Umberto were very friendly, and flexible when our travel plans were disrupted. The list of restaurants, taxi numbers and local activities that they provided was also very helpful. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Roberto was a great host and helped us get settled nicely once we got to Sicily. He answered any questions we had and gave us a list of restaurants, beaches and tours before we got there. He also helped book us a taxi to his apartment. The apartment is next to the grocery store and all the shops and restaurants which was very convenient. Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend for anyone to stay there.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Taormina! The location is fantastic—just off the main bustling pedestrian street, making it easy to explore the city and all the attractions. The property itself was lovely, very clean, and spacious with plenty of room to relax and good air conditioning (very much needed during our stay). It felt very private and safe. The host was extremely helpful and responsive, always quick to answer any questions. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Taormina!

Alessandro's place was everything we expected and more, right on the seafront, with loads of fantastic restaurants, grocery store and few shops all on the doorstep. The Apartment, was peaceful, and had everything you need for a great holiday, home from home. Alessandro was great at recommendations, but as he said you can't go wrong with any of the restaurants and cafe's Giardini Naxos, is a really lovely place to stay, always felt safe walking around night or day, Taxi to Taormina costs 25 euro to beach 30 euro to the town, during the day but at night is around 40Euro So much to see and do on the island, which is absolutely stunning We used Sayonara Beach, Geovanni and staff were great too, great advice and not a rip off, they have a cafe and restaurant, with all the facilities needed for the day, and is only a five minute walk. Will definitely stay at Alessandro's place again and highly recommend.

This was an incredible place with a beautiful view. Really perfect and exactly what we were looking for. There was also the added bonus of a concierge, Alessandra, who helped us organize transit to and from the airport, car rental, took a grocery order for us so we’d arrive to a stocked kitchen, and organized tour with a guide for us. Alessandra was excellent and incredibly attentive. She definitely made this a unique and exceptional Airbnb experience that really exemplified hospitality.

I highly recommend staying at Vincenzo's place if you are visiting Taormina. It has the best location. Very well renovated and extremely clean apartment. It had all the amenities we needed (with great quality) and was extremely comfortable. We will definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay. The house is very comfortable, and the garden is gorgeous. Our children were able to play in the garden and swimming pool. If you want to sit a little outside the tourist hustle and bustle, and yet have all the amenities at your fingertips, this is ideal. We'd love to come back.

We spend wonderful week at Alfio's place. All good reviews are hundred percent correct. View is amazing! Flat is very clean and cosy. There is air conditioning for every room separately. It's everything what you need and even more. Flat is simple but everything is solid and good quality. The area is great. All aperitivo we had on the terrace was with amazing view, quiet area and we were really satisfied. Hosts are very helpful and were responding to us very fast :) We will go back for sure :) Grazie di cuore :)

Tania's apartment is in a great location, in the centre but a very quiet area at the same time! Apartment equipped with everything, it allowed me to work from home peacefully. Tania was a very kind host and always available. I highly recommend it! :) Thanks for everything, Tania

We had a wonderful stay at the appartement. We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony and the nature all around. We even got nice fresh fruits out of the garden!

The accommodation is wonderful. Housed in a centuries-old structure, equipped with all comforts, the highlight is the bathtub directly in the bedroom. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Very nice accommodation, the terrace is a dream and we felt very comfortable. You have everything you need.

This was a beautiful apartment with a very kind and responsive host. The amenities were great and you can tell the host takes great pride in providing a comfortable space for guests. We arrived late at night after our flight was delayed and Antonina and her son were very flexible with check-in. The home was difficult to find because it’s a rural area but Antonina’s son met us at the nearest gas station and guided us to the proper location. The airbnb itself is about a 15-20 minute drive to Taormina which worked perfectly for us since we had a car. You can’t beat waking up to Mount Etna every morning! The only downside is that the common area gets quite hot during the day as the sun beams through the windows. Not a huge problem as there are other balconies in the home but something to be aware of. Overall, would definitely recommend this Airbnb!

We had a fantastic few days at Marco's house. Very spacious, well located, with parking near the property. Everything was excellent.

A very nice apartment…. The entry sounds confusing before you get there but once you get there, it’s pretty straightforward and Giuseppe was always available and very flexible. There’s a lovely little back deck that’s eclectic and wonderfully private. Maybe a few hooks in the bathroom …. For the price, I would really recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely place in Catania, Sicily. It’s tucked away in a quiet little alley, which made it very peaceful, yet it’s just a short walk to the main shopping areas and all the key tourist spots in the city. The location really couldn’t be better. Our host, Elisa, was absolutely charming and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We stayed at the apartment for 2 weeks. It's a lovely apartment in a beautiful location with great views. Giardini Naxos is a lovely place with lots of restaurants and good beaches. The apartment overlooks the beach and is a 5 minute walk into town. The apartment is really spacious with a fantastic terrace. It has everything you need to be self sufficient. We used the local buses to go into Taormina, well worth a visit. Viviana was so helpful and arranged an early check in for us, which we really appreciated as we had travelled down from Rome on the overnight train. I would highly recommend this apartment and would stay again. Many thanks

We had an amazing time at Giovanni‘s apartment was big and beautiful and the pool was amazing. And for an extra fee he picked us up from the airport and dropped us back afterwards. Beautiful clean apartment and large balcony. Great functional kitchen and large bedrooms. Easy walk into town there’s lots of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Will definitely be back!

Everything was clear, instructions were on point, Francesco is caring and always available. Our family recommends staying here 100% We did not even know how convenient the place is for staying in the heart of Catania and being able to see everything important here ☺️
