Not enough kind things to say about our experience! So peaceful, Sarah is responsive, very clean and cozy. Great are for walking to the lake. Comfy beds. We highly recommend!

Wild’s place was as advertised. Big three bedrooms and two nice clean bathrooms. The kitchen had all that was needed with nice stove, refrigerator, cookware, utensils, and plates, bowls, cups, and wine glasses. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. Arrival and departure instructions for the home could have been better, but was not an issue. The kitchen needed a microwave, but we got by with what was on hand. Also, could use a wine bottle cork opener, but got by with a screw, screwdriver, and pliers. We were able to use the grill and fire pit and both charcoal and firewood was available. The living room could use some more comfortable seating ( only one three person sofa),but we just used the kitchen table chairs for extra seating. Overall it was a great experience, we just improvised on the few things that were lacking. If I were to return to Talkeena, I would not hesitate to stay at Wild’s home. Wild communicated was good and he checked in to make sure all was well

All I can say about this BnB is WOW! The view was stunning, the host was the absolute sweetest and we had a beautiful time! We had 12 people and it accommodated us all with room to spare! We used the space as a bachelor and bachelorette party and it was the most beautiful place that I think we could have chose! It was secluded but not too far away from stores and other amenities! 10 out of 10 would recommend everyone to stay here for their visit to willow!

The house exceeded our expectations — even better in person and in the perfect location. It was clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the whole space felt cozy and welcoming. We especially enjoyed having dinner in the covered sunroom. Maggie was a fantastic host, very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The home had everything we needed and more. We would love to stay here again!

Jonathan was very accommodating, good with communication, and overall great host. The house feels like a home in the beautiful boreal birch forest.

Such a cute yurt! So close to Anchorage so it’s not too long of a drive. Beautiful lake views with a short walk. Quiet and peaceful. Couldn’t have asked for better.

The Wiley Wolf is great ! Super good location, very clever and creative workmanship in a comfortable cabin. We highly recommend it for anyone staying in Talkeetna.

Had a lovely stay at the yurt!! Much bigger than it appeared in photos, so cozy, and totally serene. Appreciated the fireplace for a warm evening, the comfy bed, and honestly the outhouse situation was so pleasant—loved being out in nature. Wonderful stay all around!

Wow wow wow! I've stayed in dozens of AirBnBs over the years, and this might be the best ever. I felt immediately at home in the cabin, and loved the floor plan, the decor, the amenities (Do a guitar and Super Nintendo count as amenities? I think they should.), and -- most of all -- the view. The view is seriously incredible -- trees, a creek, the railroad, and mountains as far as the eye can see. The property is super cool and private (we were visited by a moose!) and the amenities are unsurpassed. One of my favorite experiences was taking the paddle board out on the creek and floating as silently as possible while a red-necked grebe dove and swam around me. The hosts are also excellent, communicative, and flexible. I can't wait to come back!

We needed a simple and affordable cabin (with a shower) in the Wasilla/Willow area for a quick overnight. It was exactly as advertised. It was clean, and arranged/supplied/decorated to efficiently maximize comfort in the cozy space. The main bed was very comfy and my son reports he slept fine on the fold out couch/bed. Her check in/out directions were clear and easy to follow. Since the property has Nancy Lake access, I was trying to squeeze in some kayaking into our tight travel schedule. So I had lots of extra questions that I messaged her about re Kayak rentals and possibly arriving early to kayak before check in etc. Maggie answered each of my extra messages promptly which was very helpful for planning purposes. Her cleaning fee was affordable compared to the crazy high cleaning fees on some properties, so we made sure to do our part by leaving it tidy, washing and putting away all dishes used, and even pre stripped the bed sheets so it would be quicker cleaning for her after.

Overall, we had a nice/fun stay at Destiny’s! The place was clean, and quiet! The s’mores and hot tub were a nice touch! Destiny was very communicative and was quite helpful when we had to deal with some technical issues with Airbnb. The only issue for us was that the hot tub was too close to the host’s residence. The camper was not very far either, it was within earshot/eye-view of the host’s house so it did not feel very private or secluded. Although, this was the case, it should be noted that the hosts were very quiet, and respectful! Thank you kindly for your hospitality!

Joe’s cabin was perfect for our stay. Peaceful yet close to town. We built a fire and had a cozy night. Classic cabin with an updated kitchen and bathroom with sauna. Only regret is that we wish we would have stayed longer.

This was a beautiful place and loved our stay. Our kids enjoyed the lake and house a lot - so much they started missing it once we left. Andrew was very helpful and proactive in communicating with us and made it very easy.

Loved this property! The hardwood floors are amazingly beautiful. Maintained with care. The beds were super comfy, xtra blankets and pillows. The master bath double shower with smooth pebble floor was out of this world. Oh and big fluffy towels🤗 Appreciated the complimentary coffee in the mornings and oh so relaxing hot tub before bed. Additionally, theres 2 hiking areas with multiple trails on Comsat Rd. Old town Talkeetna is a must see, rich history with a hippy vibe, loved it. Pro tip…..buy your groceries at Cubby’s before you get to the house….groceries in old town Talkeetna are triple the price with a small selection, ok in a pinch. All in all, i’m super glad we spent 4 nights, gave us plenty of time to really explore! ❤️❤️❤️’ed it!!
