Located in the heart of the Pisgah National Forest, this place was perfect for our Memorial Day week getaway. The host's guidebook had some fantastic local recommendations. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows, making s'mores and relaxing in the hot tub. Loved that you could hear the river stream while sitting on the porch drinking your morning coffee. The pet-friendly policy was a blessing. The property was completely fenced, which was a bonus. We felt safe letting the dogs explore the property. Would definitely recommend!

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms are spacious and the screened in porch is lovely - - all times of day but especially at night. It is a quick drive into Brevard as well as the Pisgah Forest. Full huge kitchen, dining table and grill that we took advantage of. Great getaway stay!

we loved this little house! it was perfectly located between Brevard & Hendersonville. the neighborhood felt safe for us. (2 elderly sisters) The beds were very comfortable. and the house was stocked with everything we needed. and given the opportunity, we'd stay here again. Jerica was a wonderful host and very quick to respond to any questions I had. Highly recommend. this sweet little house!

Great little retreat in Cedar Mountain! Rosemary was a very gracious, kind host and we really enjoyed our stay. We would absolutely stay here in again if we're in the area! Three things to note: 1) entry requires moving a heavy chain and opening a metal gate, which may be difficult for mobility-impaired individuals. 2) wifi cut out frequently and was not fast enough for reliable video calls, if you're planning on doing remote work here. 3) no garbage collection at the house; trash had to be taken during business hours to a collection center. That said, it was a really wonderful stay and we're glad we were able to stay here. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

I have stayed at Base Camp many times and it's always a great experience.

Matthew’s property was just right for us. The yard is huge and was awesome for our dog and 2-year-old. Toddlers need to be supervised, of course, due to the fire pit and some big steps, but he loved exploring and the yard was clean. It was peaceful to sit back there and enjoy the privacy. The hot tub was so clean and it was nice to relax and look at some stars. The neighborhood is very quiet and we loved that there are multiple business within easy walking distance (don’t need to go downtown) including coffee, breakfast, and ice cream! It’s only 3-4 minutes by car to get to downtown. House is well kept up but not fancy, which I prefer honestly- I felt comfortable there and wasn’t worried that my kiddo would mess anything up. We used the king bed and slept well. Curtains plus blinds helped keep the rooms darker, but we needed one additional layer to be dark enough for our toddler. Some toy blocks and games were a nice surprise. Thanks Matthew for a comfy stay in Brevard!

Beautiful home! We especially loved the big couch in the family room. Comfy beds and the outdoor living space was a huge perk when the weather is nice. Would stay here again.

The Lake house was one of the quietest and most peaceful air b-and-b's we have stayed at. The new back deck is the highlight of the lake cabin. The rest of the cabin is fully equipped and functional, but we hardly left the back deck. With its fenced in area and gate was perfect for the dog. The kayaks and dock are a nice addition. It is located close to good dining at Micas restaurant and Whiteside brewery. We came for the hiking in Panthertown area. We will be back again.

This was our second time of staying in this condo. We returned because of the greatest accommodations and how convenient it is to all the things we enjoy. Our small dog also feels very at home here as well and particularly enjoys laying on the back deck and watching the chipmunks run around. We can't wait to return again.

Our family felt right at home at Michael's A-frame. My husband commented that it felt as though we had stayed there before, and it really had. It has every amenity and creature comfort you could want or need, including a nicely stocked spice cabinet, plenty of linens, board games and puzzles, and a place to do laundry. Michael was friendly and helpful. Our family had an awesome time, and we hope to be back to enjoy the property in the summer months!

The place was perfect for our family of four. The house had everything we needed and we appreciated the super soft towels and bath rugs! Also, there were towels for the pool/lake, which was really nice. The setting is so peaceful yet there is so much to do within the community. Loved the place and can't wait to go back!

This is such an amazing place and yes it is real! Incredible views and wonderful stunning home in the mountains. It really was a memory I'll have forever. Matt was so awesome, he helped us get settled in and the amenities were so awesome🙏. Stay here and prepare to be pampered all the way up in the mountains! ❤️

Our family had a great long weekend at this property. We used it was a jumping off point for trails in DuPont and Pisgah, and spent some time in Brevard as well. Had a lovely walk in the neighborhood to the lake nearby and on one of the mountain trails. Even played an afternoon round of golf at the course. The cabin is very simple but served us well for mealtime and sleeping, otherwise we were out exploring. Would stay here again for a similar mountain weekend in the future. Thanks!

This place was our favorite place to stay in all our families vacations. The house was just beautiful. So open! My parents came and stayed for two nights, and they felt right at home. My children stayed downstairs, and loved the games! My husband and I loved the master and the master bathroom. The couch is super comfy! We used the hot tub every evening. There is a lot to do in the area, Sliding Rock is one of our favorite getaway excursions, about 45 minutes away. Coming back from 55 degrees cold water, the hot tub was wonderful! There is so much to say about this home, it was perfect for our family. The kitchen is top of the line, and laundry room is right off the kitchen, which makes it nice and convenient to wash clothes. Having a family of 6, laundry is a must! Also, the Sapphire Valley Resort amenities is GREAT for families! We rented a John boat to go fishing on Fairfield Lake, the view is stunning! We have fallen in love with this home and already booked again for next year!

Very quiet and private neighborhood. The private pond was amazing for fishing with small children. Location was close to activities and restaurants in Cashiers. Very comfortable place to stay.

Anita's cabin was a peaceful retreat. The bubbling creek and proximity to hiking trails were a serene and unqiue benefit. Anita was responsive when we had questions about the house and proactive about sending us clear check-in/out procedures.

Mountain View was the perfect place to end our days while visiting Brevard. Lynda & Bob were very friendly & responsive to any questions. The beds were very comfortable & the amenities were very nice. The view was great & it was very peaceful during our stay. Thanks Lynda & Bob for a great stay.

Beautiful property! The house was pristine, the yard was well cared for and great for exploring. The stream and waterfall, along with the historic mill were incredible. We enjoyed dinners outside, evening walks in the meadow, fireflies, sounds of waterfalls, and campfires with s'mores. Nancy is a highly thoughtful host and provided us with information about the area, fixins for s'mores and an immaculate while also very comfortable house. We explored Pisgah National Forest, went tubing with Brevard Tubbing, swimming in cool rivers, hikes with waterfalls.... and so much more. Thank you, Nancy, for opening your home to us, our kids and dogs. It was perfect!

We absolutely loved staying at this cabin near the river and close to town. It's about a 30 minute drive from Waynesville which is close enough for convenience but far enough away for peace and quiet. The area surrounding the cabin is stunning and private. Charles is an excellent host and the entire experience was well organized. We have absolutely nothing bad to say nor any recommendations for improvement. We would definitely stay there again 10/10

Absolutely loved staying at the French Cottage. Spent hours on the porch in the swing chairs. Inside was just perfect too. This place was just perfect for our 45th anniversary/ retirement trip!

My husband and I had a fabulous weekend in Brevard staying at Missy’s place. The location was perfect and convenient to anything you’d want to do. Very peaceful and beautiful as well. We loved our stay!

We loved Richard’s place! I only wish we were in town on vacation instead of work because I would have liked to spend more time there. I stay in WNC a good bit and this is my favorite Air bnb I’ve stayed at!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Being a home builder, the design of the home seemed so well thought out. We were seeking a quiet chilled getaway experience. This home brought this idea to life. We will stay again in the near future. Big thank you to Chris and John!
