Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Transylvania County

We loved our stay! Ben gave clear instructions on how to find/access the property, was very responsive, and helpful. The house was spotless, comfortable, had everything you need, and the hot tub was a great perk in the cold winter. An added bonus: there is a waterfall to spot on your drive up to the house.

Well, my husband and I have stayed there on and off for the last six months for local work, so we know the place well. Sadly, our project has come to an end, so our most recent stay will be our last for work. BUT, we love everything about Todd and Barbie and the house, and we will be back for fun hiking weekends. Hiking, waterfalls, everything nearby. It's the best place we've stayed in the area. Private, squeaky clean, big deck, large dining room table for big meals or spreading out the paperwork, GREAT internet connection and TV options. We'll definitely be back on our own - we feel so comfortable there in every way. I could not recommend any higher - would give it a "10" if I could. Todd and Barbie also bent over backwards to help us with a couple of last-minute schedule changes. Such honest and thoughtful hosts. Thanks Todd and Barbie for EVERYTHING over the last few months. We love you guys!

Our stay at Kerry’s place was great! We love Sapphire because of the amenities like Fairfield Lake and the rec center, in addition to being close to a number of hikes. Kerry’s neighborhood had its own lake (Whisper Lake) the kids could enjoy, which was such a nice bonus. It was a great place to relax at the end of the day. The neighborhood is also walkable if you don’t mind the hills. Check out Grand Olde Station on Lake Toxaway for lunch or dinner. We had a great stay and will definitely be back!

This is an absolutely magical place! The whole living room/dining room feels like you are in a tree house with the walls of glass, high ceilings, post and beam architecture...so beautiful! Nathan was an awesome host, communicative and kind. It was super clean upon arrival. The beds are very comfortable. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Definitely need a car that has all wheel drive or 4WD to get up the driveway in the beginning. We were in a minivan and we had to try 4 times and get a rolling start off the main road to get some power behind us. If my husband wasn't driving I'm not sure I would've been able to do it myself. So, I would take that note in the description seriously. I am so refreshed after my weekend there. Such an amazing house. Spent so much time on the covered deck lounging listening to the birds. What a dream! Thank you Nathan!

This place was so fantastic we are starting a new tradition of staying here! Easy access to the lake, the amenities were FAR BEYOND expectations and the proximity to local parks can’t be understated. Don’t look elsewhere, just book this location and you will be very happy.

Cabin was very cozy, area was peaceful. The patio was large and a very nice, quiet place to have coffee in the morning. The owners were very responsive and helpful. We loved the place!

We had such a great stay at this house. It’s tucked away in the woods, super peaceful, and just has a really cool vibe overall. The home itself is beautiful, huge windows, cozy fireplaces, and that awesome open layout that makes it feel super spacious but still warm and welcoming. One of our favorite parts was how quiet and private it felt. You can sit outside and just hear the river in the background, so relaxing. It really felt like a little escape from the world, but still had everything we needed to feel comfortable. If you’re looking for a peaceful, unique place to recharge, I’d definitely recommend it. We loved it!

House is even better than the pictures - feels very premium. Lots of space, well appointed and well decorated. Would highly recommend.

Most peaceful and romantic place we’ve ever stayed The views were to die for Slight problems getting the projector sound working but that could be my technical ability Julie was most responsive and the place was spotless ! Didn’t want to leave !

Alex & Josh were great host! Communicated clear & easy check in and check out instructions and were check in with us throughout our stay. The cabin itself was beautiful and clean, it was stocked with everything we needed pretty much in the kitchen and bathrooms. There were little chocolates on all the beds when we arrived, there were all different types of towels, to bathe, pool towels even make up towels which was , little thoughtful details we appreciated. The location was really great! My boyfriend and I were able to do a bunch of hikes near by but also be close enough to enjoy the downtown Asheville area. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, would definitely return!

Highly recommend this place! We rented it for a bridal/bachelorette party weekend for five women, and it was marvelous! Early instructions about check in were informative. We lived in the hot tub. When there was an issue on Friday evening, we contacted the host who responded within the hour. Kitchen worked great for our personal French cooking lesson. We had a blast playing pool downstairs. And oh how the beds were comfortable, with great sheets to boot! Great views out the living room and kitchen to enjoy your morning coffee. What a great place!

This place exceeded all the high expectations we had going in. The view cannot be done justice with the photos. We have stayed in a bunch of places in the NC mountains and this was by far the most beautiful view we have ever seen. We also didn’t realize just how great it would be to have access to the lake club facilities just by staying in the reserve. Aurelia was super responsive, friendly and helpful. If it’s available, we hope we can stay again next year!

This place was everything we didn’t know we needed. Tucked away in the quiet beauty of Lake Lure, it felt like our own little escape. The house was clean, cozy, and had so many thoughtful touches. We started each morning with coffee on the deck and ended each night under the stars—it was peaceful in a way that’s hard to put into words. Our family made real memories here, and we’re already talking about coming back.

Eric was always quick to respond to my questions. Was willing to give genuine suggestions. Was very easy to talk to. Loved the location and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Clean with plenty of extra amenities. Great location next to the highway for easy access to different parts of town. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Definitely recommend and would return!

Dana’s cabin was absolutely the most beautiful cabin I’ve ever seen!!!!! Every room was so well thought out for a romantic getaway!!!! Her touch of a handwritten note, fresh farm eggs, and a bottle of wine to enjoy during your stay was the perfect touch!!!! Highly recommend for any couple to relax and recharge with your loved one!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Nancy Mountain Bearadise! The house is beautiful, cozy, and well-equipped, offering all the comfort and warmth our family was hoping for. The peaceful mountain setting was the perfect escape, and we especially appreciated the attention to detail in every part of the home. This place was amazing! It’s the perfect little spot for those seeking a private space with lots of adventures around. We will definitely be back because we fell in love with the area! This space offered everything we were looking for.

The house was the perfect fit for my friend and me. I love that the two bedrooms are identical thus no fighting over the better one. The kitchen was immaculate and well stocked. Laundry was handy and also well stocked. Great little hot tub and fire pit. We will be back!

Ideal for families wanting to rest relax and make endless memories. Accommodated our kids including the teens. Caitlin was extremely welcoming and the cabin was better than described. Lots of games, pool table, ping pong and stuff to keep busy on rainy days. Neat little river getaway when weather permitted. The river was indeed cold but most definitely core memories made! Small fish for our outdoorsy dudes. Definitely an amazing weekend.

This is the PERFECT home for a family and a dog looking to get away and experience the peace of the mountains but who also need to get some energy out and have FUN. Our favorite activity was relaxing together in the hot tub after a long day of hiking in Pisgah/Dupont forest and stuffing our faces in Brevard, we'd stare up at the beautiful trees arching over our heads and watch the birds while our aching legs soaked. Our boys played outside with our dog in the fenced in yard and everything felt safe and secure. They wanted bears, we didn't. Linens were lovely and there were extras for parents who need an extra reading pillow to get thru bedtime. Coffee machine worked great and that is literally the most important feature in an Air bnb for this crew. Very conveniently located to SC side of mountains, nice drive from the south thru Travelers Rest and you can stop at Ceasers Head for a beautiful view. 10/10, would stay here again. WE WILL BE BACK! Thank you to our hosts!!

We picked this lovely spot for the solitude, uniqueness and proximity to Brevard, trails and waterfalls. It truly did not disappoint. Karen, our host, has appointed this wee house with everything we could want or need, and the quality of the amenities was top notch. The little wrap around deck view was the perfect woodland setting for morning coffee, complete with a little running brook and luscious greenery.

AMAZING!!!’ Exactly what I was looking for and in a perfect location for hiking. I’ll definitely be back.
