Family-friendly holiday rentals in Tralee

We absolutely loved this cozy, impeccably clean house—so much so, we didn’t want to leave! My favorite part was enjoying coffee each morning with the beautiful view. The extra living space gave our family room to spread out, and the sinks in each bedroom were a great touch for keeping things organized. The beds and towels were soft and comfy, and we were pleasantly surprised by the brand-new washer and dryer (with detergent!). My kids loved exploring the area and heading to the beach. There’s a cute café down the road and a nice pub in town—just be aware that places close early, so plan meals ahead. We didn’t use the hot tub since it seemed a bit tricky to figure out, but overall, this was one of our favorite Airbnb stays!

This was a great Airbnb. Location about 1 mile outside of Killarney. Comfortable clean big. Airbnb is part of the Glen Eagle apartments behind the Brehon Hotel. You have to check in at the GlenEagle hotel which is next to Brehon. Kind of confusing, but we figured it out.

A first rate accomodation in a wild and peaceful setting with a grand view of the "3 Sisters", Mt. Brandon and the wild Atlantic. High ceilings, lots of view windows including in the bedrooms and a fireplace. Great recreational loft space with TV, board games, foosball and darts. Hiking opportunities and the grand town of Dingle short minutes away by car.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille (9 personnes) du 16 au 21 mai. Le logement est parfait : des chambres spacieuses, une cuisine bien équipée, et tout était très propre à notre arrivée. John est un hôte accueillant, réactif et serviable. Il a su répondre rapidement à nos demandes et nous a mis à l’aise dès le début. Nous recommandons sans hésiter ce logement pour un séjour en groupe ou en famille.

It was really a nice stay . really nice and clean property in a very convenient location.

We loved the place! The house was great and the host was very responsive to our questions. We especially liked the large common space and table on the first floor that allowed us to sit together at the end of the day to talk and wind down our day.

A truly luxurious house. I stayed here with my wife for a quite getaway and we was not disappointed. The open plan living with the views down to the Atlantic make sitting with your morning coffee delightful. Having the snug with the TV upstairs on the mezzanine is a great idea separating it away form the views. The hot tub is not woodfired anymore and appeared brand new and spotless. One of the best we have used and having the sauna again spotless was great. Comfy beds, beautiful ensuite, a balcony off the master bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen. Nothing else needed. The location is away from Dingle town by about 10 minutes so you can have peace and quiet but access to some great restaurants if you want them. We will be back

The lodge was an amazing break from our whirlwind tour of Ireland. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful and the town of Glenngarriff was fun. Highly recommend!

Martin and Bridgette were excellent hosts. 3 things we look for are cleanliness, comfort and quiet. We got these in abundance. The view from the house was stunning and seeing all the deer in the garden was very special. Good base for touring the penninsulas with great food in town. Wonderful cottage to spend time with family or friends. Very spacious and well thought out rooms and living areas. Everything is thought of and taken care of for a nice and relaxing stay in the lovely little fishers village of Dingle. Anthony is a great host providing everything you need and want to know in a very timely manner. Would certainly recommend!

Logement spacieux et bien situé pour visiter la péninsule de Dingle. Plusieurs rénovations ont été faites dont la cuisine, et la maison a été repeinte en bleu (bon à savoir pour la repérer de la route!) Nous avons apprécié notre séjour et l’accueil de Deborah!

I have stayed in this cottage quite a few times over the years - and I always enjoy it immensely. The cottage is lovely, decorated in a style that suits its age, and set in the most stunning scenery. It feels as though you're in the middle of nowhere - it is so quiet the deer come right up to the patch of grass in front of the house in the evenings and there are so many different birds it's almost like an orchestra - but you're definitely not: There are two good restaurants in the area, a nice pub near a harbour, a lunchroom in gorgeous gardens and a very well stocked shop-and-tearoom only a 20 minute drive away. So yes, I will come again!

There are literally know words to describe the beauty of this place I almost think it’s to nice to be shared with other people. The Hosts were extremely patient with me and my party…due to a motorcycle breaking down we arrived (very late) but the host was very understanding and very helpful. I would 1000% recommended this stay, and I my self would love to come back at a later date and have more time exploring the beautiful sites. many thanks Lewis !

Huisje No.3 is een pareltje! De ruimte is heel uitnodigend; we voelden ons er meteen thuis. In de keuken is alles aanwezig voor ontbijt, koffie+thee, avondeten. De weg is vlakbij, maar dat merk je absoluut niet. Het is er zo rustig, vooral 's nachts: je hoort alleen het zachte ruisen van het beekje. En de vogeltjes 's ochtends... Ik heb zelden zo lekker geslapen, matras is ook prima. We stonden heerlijk relaxed op, met daarna een rondje sauna en lekker lezen in de tuin of onder de overkapping. Het strand is dichtbij (8 min. met de auto), evenals een supermarkt. Langs de kustlijn is het prachtig wandelen: een uniek natuurgebied, The Maharees. En ook de bergen zijn op een steenworp afstand. Er zijn twee geweldige restaurants in de buurt: Spillane's en Pisces (check wel de openingstijden). Garry en Suzanne gunnen je alle privacy, maar als er iets is, reageren ze meteen (was bij ons niet nodig). Kortom, voor alles 5+++ sterren. Een superplekje om te verblijven!!

Of the five houses we rented across the UK and Ireland, this was our absolute favorite! We loved the spaciousness, especially when it came time to repack luggage for our return trip. The location is ideal. Anyone visiting Killarney National Park should consider a stay here, away from the town of Killarney, but close enough to get supplies and perfectly located at the start of the Gap of Dunloe. We loved being able to just walk to Kate Kearney's Cottage for dinner each night (though it was tough to get a table with all the bus tours, so book in advance!) and pop into the Coffee Shop Cafe for a quick breakfast before beginning the day's adventure. If I ever return to county Kerry, this is where I would book a stay.

A lovely bungalow with everything we needed. Anne met us and showed us round and gave us some local information, plus a tray of goodies and milk, tea and coffee which was appreciated! The place was clean with good size rooms and en suites. The garden is pretty and well kept with mountain views. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Nous n’avons passé qu’une nuit chez Nora, mais nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps , l’environnement est paisible , la maison confortable et Nora est une hôtesse très sympathique.

The place was very cozy and we felt right at home. We enjoyed our stay and found lots to do in the surrounding area. There is a Pub very near to the house. It was very peaceful and we couldn't hear any traffic noises. We didn't know this heating system, but Brian talked us through and it was fairly easy. He is very responsive in general. We want to come again.

I’ve stayed in Airbnbs all over the world—from bustling cities to quiet countryside escapes—and I can confidently say this was the best experience I’ve ever had. Every detail exceeded expectations. First and foremost, the cleanliness was absolutely outstanding. Spotless from top to bottom—not a speck of dust, not a fingerprint on a surface. You can tell they truly care about hygiene and guest comfort, and it immediately made me feel at ease and relaxed the moment I walked in. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the incredible hospitality. They provided incredibly helpful and curated information about local sights, hidden gems, dining options, and even personalised recommendations. If you're considering booking, do it. It’s a rare gem and I would return in a heartbeat. I already miss the peaceful sounds of birds chirping.

This cottage is wonderful and Gary’s hospitality is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it as an experience in Irish living. This 300 year old cottage is well maintained and immaculate. Gary drove for the portion of our trip to the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula making our travel relaxing and informative.
