This is a calm castle town where people still live today. Feel the elegance and forget your busy daily life in a room in a spacious and quiet old house. This is the location of the film "The Father of the Milky Way Railroad", which was released in May 2023. The Manmoku Shoten shop also appears in the film. The scene in the second-hand bookstore in "Yakusho Koji-san" was filmed at this inn. You can get to the Iwamura Castle site on foot or by car. Please come and imagine what kind of battles took place here. There aren't as many tourists as in other tourist destinations, so you can enjoy the castle town life all to yourself. Iwamura fans continue to come. After 4 pm, you will be surprised by the calm and quiet atmosphere. When you walk along the main street at night, you will see a row of lanterns that look like paper lanterns, which is very magical. On the day of the "summer solstice", the sunset falls straight down the street, and you can see a very beautiful scene. (Depending on the weather, it's around 6:30 pm for about a week around mid-June every year) We also operate a retro kimono rental and dressing service in this building. If you'd like to wear a kimono, please make a reservation. There is a discounted rate for guests staying at the accommodation. There is also a backyard and a storehouse at the back of the building, so you might feel like a ninja (^-^)

Access is a 14-minute walk from Meitetsu and Higashi-Okazaki Stations and a 9-minute drive from the Tomei Expressway and Okazaki Interchange. It is a 10-minute walk to Kosei City area and a 21-minute walk to Okazaki Castle. It is in a very accessible location for cherry blossom viewing and fireworks displays in Otsuka. The room is located on the 4th floor of a reinforced concrete apartment building. There is parking for one car. You can also use it for long-term stays for business, etc. Group guests are limited to 4 people. If you are staying with your family, we can accommodate up to 5 people. Please ask me. This is an old house built 221 years ago, located in the center of Tsumago-juku. The 20-tatami living room has a sunken hearth (currently unavailable) and you can enjoy the old Japanese private house. There are 3 bedrooms, so you can stay with a large number of people, such as family and friends. No meals are provided. You are welcome to use the full kitchen freely. There is a backyard at the end of the dirt floor that continues from the entrance, and you can walk around freely.
