The water in the Marukara River is cold, but in summer the children play in the river energetically. The riverbed is much cooler, so people can escape the heat and cool off. A little downstream there are several river play spots, and the water is clear everywhere and it feels good to swim beautifully. The water of the river shines emerald green in a slightly deep place, and the scenery of rocks and moss is also wonderful, and it is a healing spot where the mind is purified. The scene in the second-hand bookstore in "Yakusho Koji-san" was filmed at this inn. You can get to the Iwamura Castle site on foot or by car. Please come and imagine what kind of battles took place here. There aren't as many tourists as in other tourist destinations, so you can enjoy the castle town life all to yourself. Iwamura fans continue to come. After 4 pm, you will be surprised by the calm and quiet atmosphere. When you walk along the main street at night, you will see a row of lanterns that look like paper lanterns, which is very magical.
