You can fully enjoy mountain sightseeing at this time of year, such as Kamikochi, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Hakuba and Happo Pond.From late August to September, summer is a season where you can enjoy the quiet Shinshu. Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino and Hakuba and Kamikochi, you can stay comfortably from one night to consecutive nights. Access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama Kurobe is also good, making it possible for group trips, family trips, and long-term stays.There is a washing machine and dryer, and it is comfortable for consecutive nights. You can also come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off is available at Shinano Matsukawa Station and Meisha Station.Other transfers and sightseeing transfers are available for ¥2,000 to ¥8,000 (return) within 2 hours one-way.For more than 5 people, please consult in advance to accommodate car rental. Location Opened in May 2024. Located in the heart of Takayama's historic district, Makoto-ya Ojin is a stylish inn in 1-chome, Ojin-cho, Takayama City, where the good old Japanese landscape remains. In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). Enjoy Takayama's history to the fullest in an excellent location. <Building and Hida master carpenters> Built 145 years ago by a master craftsman from Hida, this building has been revived here by modern craftsmen. Since it is a private rental, you can use it as if it were your own home, but the host will be staying on Fridays and Saturdays when the shop on the ground floor is open. We also accept pets, and you can bring them with you when you eat on the ground floor.However, general customers also come to the store on Fridays and Saturdays, so if your dog barks excessively, we will have to put it in the cage on the third floor. The bistro on the ground floor offers over 100 types of drinks, including wine (including natural wine), original cocktails, craft beer, craft gin, and whiskey, as well as à la carte dishes (Fridays and Saturdays only) and set meals (reservation required; ¥8,000 on Fridays and Saturdays, ¥10,000 on other days).
