As a base for sightseeing in Azumino and Hakuba/Kamikochi, you can enjoy a comfortable stay for one night or multiple nights. There is also good access to Hakuba, Kamikochi and Tateyama-Kurobe, and it is suitable for group trips, family trips and long-term stays.With a washing machine and bathroom dryer, it's comfortable for extended stays. You can get here by public transport, but it's more convenient if you have a car. Free shuttle service is available to Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other transfers and sightseeing transfers can be arranged for 2,000 to 8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, within 2 hours each way.For groups of 5 or more, please consult with us in advance as we can arrange car rental. Location Opened in May 2024. Located in the heart of Takayama's historic district, Makoto-ya Ojin is a stylish inn in 1-chome, Ojin-cho, Takayama City, where the good old Japanese landscape remains. In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). Since it is a private rental, you can use it as if it were your own home, but the host will be staying on Fridays and Saturdays when the shop on the ground floor is open. We also accept pets, and you can bring them with you when you eat on the ground floor.However, general customers also come to the store on Fridays and Saturdays, so if your dog barks excessively, we will have to put it in the cage on the third floor. This is a private rental inn that blends the comfort of an old house with modern comfort, where you can relax to your heart's content. The inn has an open-air cypress bath. You can enjoy a relaxing bath while watching the garden from the open-air bath. The inn is located in Sanmachi, where there is an old town, and Kamisannomachi is just a short walk away. You can also walk to the Yatai Kaikan of Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, Hiei Shrine, and Takayama Jinya. Hida has many tourist attractions such as Shirakawago, Okuhida Onsen Village, and Shinhotaka Ropeway. There is a bus from Takayama City, making it easy to visit. You can enjoy Hida while staying at our inn.

"Yoko's Inn Wakuwaku" is a "separate" inn adjacent to the creative home cooking restaurant "Wakuwaku", limited to one group per day. There is a private entrance. From the window, you can see the vast rural landscape and the Northern Alps Tateyama mountain range in the distance.
