The interior was just as shown in the photographs with a few upgrades. There is a split unit air conditioning system inside the rooms and one in the kitchen/living area. Very clean space, we'll designed and spacious. Fresh fruits were a great touch of hospitality. Overall great host, great on-site persons also. Very responsive and helpful. Even had some great neighbors. Better to avoid driving through the Port Antonio town in the day for check in, as Google map will give the shortest route.

My month-long stay at Jacqueline's place from January 11th to February 11th, 2025, was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. Jacqueline is a truly exceptional host – warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, and even checked in periodically to see how my stay was going.Her kindness and hospitality was bar none. The property itself was exactly as described in the listing, and even better in person. It was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped, which was perfect. The location was ideal, close to public transport and within easy reach of the downtown markets and shopping centers. I highly recommend Jacqueline's place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Whether you're visiting for a short trip or a longer stay like mine, you won't be disappointed. Initially we had trouble finding the location however Denise was very responsive with a wonderful and positive energy. With her help as well as the help of locals in the area we were able to find it no problem. Check in was smooth, the host as well as the helper on site Craig was super super friendly and helpful. We were greeted with fresh coconut water and jelly and was encouraged to help ourselves to the Jamaican apple tree right on the property. The cabin was spacious and beautiful, with gorgeous views of Portland both day and night. This cabin definitely made my boyfriend and I fall in love with Portland, we initially planned to stay one night but booked an additional night just to enjoy the nature and views a little longer. We even woke up at 5am to enjoy the view of the sunrise from our veranda. This will definitely be our go to spot in Portland now, we felt right at home! I have no complaints and can’t wait to be back soon.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Sonia was very friendly, helpful, gracious & hospitable. The space was extremely clean & comfortable & we felt really safe there. Sonia was very responsive with her communication. She had fresh mangoes delivered to us which was a great treat!
