Kaoru-san and Seiki-san, are two extraordinary and rare souls. They always welcome me with the sense of familiarity and hospitality. The Garden room is situated close to downtown Hachinohe. Many amazing culinary options to explore, and only a half hour walk to Aeon supermarket- Which is open 24 hours a day. The room is always tidy and well maintained. If you wish to explore the moderately travelled path by choosing to visit Hachinohe, please do yourself a favour, and stay with Kaoru-san and Seiki-san. You will not regret it.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this cozy and private mountain retreat. The location, just 10 minutes from the Hakkada ropeway, made it perfect for exploring the area. The house itself had a lovely, relaxing vibe, with a huge laundry room that my wife especially appreciated. The bathroom was a highlight – opening the window gave us an incredible open-air onsen experience with stunning autumn views. The only drawback is its distance from the city (about a 30-minute mountain drive), so having a car and stocking up on supplies is essential. Overall, a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway!

Quoting my wife 'the house gives me a good feeling'. I think that sums it up quite well. it's really a full house with great Scandinavian decor. The space and garden area gave us a good feeling for our stay. it is a great base to launch out and explore Oirase Gorge and Lake Towada!
