Off-the-grid stone cottage in the Little Karoo

Off grid cottage set in the heart of the Little Karoo within the Touwsberg Nature and Game Reserve. The reserve is well known for it's biodiverse fauna and flora and stunning scenery. Located off Route 62, midway between Barrydale and Ladismith, accessible with an average car/sedan, that has at least 17cm off ground clearance. The Cottage is well equipped, with indoor fireplace, cosy and completely private - the perfect Winter stay. Note: cell/3G reception requires a 2 minute walk; no wifi.

Lily Pond

Lily Pond, is a luxurious guest house just an hour and a half from Cape Town. Lily Pond is set on a natural pond brimming with incredible bird life, creating a serene atmosphere unmatched anywhere else. With no other cottages in sight and located on a picturesque wine farm, it offers a rare blend of privacy and luxury. Bontebok House - Three Holes

Bontebok house is a modern off-grid (only solar power) cottage in a remote valley of our reserve. Enjoy the quietness and wildlife on your doorstep! It has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, has a fridge, an oven and a gas stove. There's also a fireplace, braai on the veranda and wood fired hot tub. This house does not have WiFi or cell reception. 4km from the house lies our yard with free WiFi access. Firewood is available at our shop for R50/crate.

La Vieille Cure

LaViellie Cure in one of the oldest house in Franschhoek, built earlier than 1850 and declared National Monument in 1981. The cottage has its own private entrance and cozy courtyard with mountain view and pergolas at the front and back patios. The inside is characterised by a spacious open studio that retains the historical features with an added touch of modernity. The historical cottage is at walking distance from restaurants and from the wine tram station and many others amenities!!

Klaasvoogds Cottage, 90m2, minimally affected by loadshedding, offers a charming, luxurious self-catering cottage on a working farm. It has a gas stove, solar geyser and an inverter so TV, lights, fridge and wifi not affected at all. It is well-equipped for long stays, centrally located in the Robertson wine valley on route 62. Enjoy lovely views of the vineyards, orchards and moutains.
