Cozy cottage with secluded lakefront location

Here you will find tranquility, just a stone's throw from Kungsberget ski resort with close proximity to forest and lake. The cottage of 36 m2 offers an open floor plan with kitchen (not oven) and living areas where a sofa and daybed are available as well as a sleeping loft with double bed. A small cottage with a double bed is available in summer. The lake is outside the door but is better for a boat ride than swimming. Close to Sandviken, Högbo, Gävle and Ockelbo. Outhouse, hot outdoor shower, no water retracted, drinking water on can. Digital TV.

Two balconies with double seating areas, both upstairs and with lake view. (New outdoor space July 2023) There are several ski tracks, ice skating lakes nearby if weather allows. Kungsberget and Högbo ski resorts, only 35min away (34km) 12km to central Ockebo with shops, restaurants, cafe and beautiful Wij gardens.

Cottage by the lake Edsken in Hofors.

On the border between Gästrikland and Dalarna next to Edskens camping and swimming area is our cozy cottage next to our main building. Edsken is one of three lakes Edsken-Fullen-Grycken that is connected to each other and is excellent for paddling, fishing for perch and pike. In the winter, a 4.5-mile ice skating rink is plowed on the lakes. 45 min to Kungsberget. 60 min to Romme Alpin. 9 km from the cottage is one of Sweden's most beautiful golf courses. It is close to stigrik forest, nice exercise tracks and bike trails

The villa is located 4 km from Storsjöns pearl, Årsunda Strandbad. 30 minutes drive from Kungsberget Ski resort and 20 minutes from popular Högbo Bruk. Unfortunately no access to the water from our plot.

Do excursions from here to the forest which is around the corner or take a refreshing ice skating ride, rowing trip or swim in the lake. Or just relax with a sauna or jacuzzi. Cottage close to nature, lake, golf, and padel

Our cottage, called Visthuset by Långnäs Herrgård (Långnäs Manor), is an old larder from the 19th century. In early 2000s it was renovated and used as permanent residence for some years. For the last decade it has been a self-catered holiday rental for up to 4 persons. The cottage is situated by the lake Stor-Gösken, roughly 200 meters from Hofors Golf Club first tee and Hofors Padel. Hofors and surrounding areas offer many possibilities for sport and sightseeing. Lake cabin with all the amenities by the fishing lake.

A home closer to the water is probably hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunset is an extra plus. The internet works well with mobile broadband via Telia and others. Winter info: The ice is now March 19 still thick, but can start to become landless facing south. The snow about 10 cm. Any ski tracks nearby. Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away.

Stay in “Kråkboet”, a converted barn in the countryside.

You live in the Crow's Nest, a converted barn, secluded, on our property. An apartment about 70 sqm housed in a barn, with 6 sleeping places, divided into 4 bunk beds and a divisible double bed, kitchen, bathroom with toilet and shower. We've provided the Crow's Nest with a Google Home device. If you don't want to use it, just unplug it. :) However, it is an invaluable tool for the visually impaired, for example.
