The Artist Cottage was a great secluded retreat. We loved how charming and cute the place looked. The colorful decor and charming antiques in the cottage made it feel special. The amenities were well taken-care of and we especially loved the hot tub, the outdoor fireplace, the spacious lodge, and the large, modern soaking tub. We enjoyed hanging out in backyard, where we could listen to numerous birds while sitting by a little waterfall in the morning. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. It was just a short walk from some nice hiking trails and we loved that it was only a short drive to town. Overall, we highly recommend this stay!

The Silent Sun Cottage is a very charming & peaceful home for a getaway. Everything is modern, clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked. James & Abigail are lovely hosts that made us feel welcome and special. The best part was spending time in the back yard (back yard does not do it justice) on the hammocks or sitting with a morning coffee looking at the lake. The location is so beautiful and tranquil we didn't want to go anywhere else. Using the provided kayaks on the lake followed by a soak in the hot tub was amazing. I highly recommend a stay here & will be back in the future.

The Cottage at Blackberry River Inn was beautiful and exactly what we needed for the weekend. Breakfast was included and wonderful. This place is a gem and we will be back for sure.

We had the pleasure of staying at Matts place for a weekend getaway that included 6 women. Matt was such an amazing host from start to finish. Beautiful home with gorgeous landscaping on the lake and is set up with everything you could possibly need. The home was immaculate inside and out and was truly even better in person than the already beautiful photos provided. We intend on making this our yearly destination spot! We can't thank you enough for being a super host !

We loved our stay here. It was the perfect place for two of us and our dog. The home was just as described, welcoming, cosy and well equipped, and we appreciated all the local recommendations. We enjoyed local walks, the lake, and the great dog park, as well as easy access to Middletown to visit our son. Elisabeth and Daniel were fantastic hosts!

This place was wonderful. We were only there for a quick stay, and it was rainy, but that was ok because the cabin was so cute and cozy and fun. A bit of time sitting in the chairs out front in the morning with my coffee was exactly the quick weekend rejuvenation I needed. The cabin had everything we needed (and plenty of things we didn't need on this trip, but you might! I could see us playing board games or relaxing out on the back patio on a future trip.) A previous reviewer said this spot is what you expect an Airbnb to be, and that's exactly right. We picked it at first because it was convenient to a few Westchester things we needed to do, but we didn't want to drive home afterwards to CT on a summer Friday night. Spending this little bit of time in the Carmel area was genius because now we can't wait to go back there specifically for a real visit!

Laurence and Ilze were incredible hosts, incredibly helpful and responsive, going above and beyond to sort out our needs. The house was as advertised and we had a a great time at their place. Should we be back in the area we’d definitely try to stay with them again!

As advertised. Perfect location for what we needed. Perfect two people. Tighter for three. It got cramped with four. Saverio was an excellent host-very responsive. If anything was needed (toilet paper, garbage bags, etc) he was able to provide very quickly. The site is a hikers paradise with access to town trails from the property.

Jeanne's place was perfect for my trip to Guilford. Excellent location, close to the Green and to the water, quiet, peaceful. The house had everything I needed and more, Jeanne was super responsive and kind, and the bed was comfortable.

Gabriele's place was a great place to stay! We really liked the furnishings. When I messed up, Gabrielle was in constant touch with us so we could get everything right. She is a wonderful host

Jamie & Rose are the consummate hosts: clear communicators, friendly, helpful and supportive of their guests' (and their animals') experience. The cottage is New England cute on steroids, and super private. All was tip top, first rate for a country cottage experience. Thanks for making our experience so smooth and relaxing.

Cute little pad to explore the Hudson Valley from! Would recommend to anyone looking for an easy-going place to stay in Pine Plains.

Rachel’s carriage house is a charming and beautifully maintained property—just as described and shown in the photos. Even though the weather wasn’t ideal during our stay, we thoroughly enjoyed cozying up and relaxing in the warm, inviting space. One of our favorite features was the natural light streaming through the tall paned windows in the kitchen and dining area, overlooking the garden—a perfect setting for our morning coffee. The carriage house was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and restful getaway. It’s clear that Rachel has put a lot of care into creating a welcoming experience for her guests. We truly enjoyed our time in the Berkshires and would happily return!

Hands-down one of the most beautiful airbnb I’ve ever had the fortune of staying at! Every detail - from the floor mat to the picnic basket to the window placement - was perfection. The little creek and vegetal labyrinth nearby was also such a treat. Heather and Chip were very responsive and flexible. The place is pretty conveniently located, with grocery shops and restaurants within a ten-minute drive, though I would recommend checking in before it gets too dark since the house is a little hard to find.

We loved our stay at Rebecca’s cottage! It was the perfect amount of space for four kids and four adults and while we didn’t get the chance to fully experience the outdoor space due to some tricky weather, we were grateful for it! Decor was charming, the space itself was beautiful, both cozy and open. Kitchen worked great for us and we felt right at home, able to cook and clean freely and easily. Clean, adorable, and in a gorgeous location, we’d love to come back here!

The small home is located at the end of a 0.25 mile dirt road. There are only four homes on the road, though one is on the opposite side at the end of the road. If you are staying here you should be comfortable in an isolated location. There are no window treatments on the two sliding doors opening to the deck in the back of the home, though there is also nothing but woods in the back of the home. All that being said, the place was exceptionally clean for any Airbnb rental, much less one tucked back in the woods. While the small kitchen was missing a few expected items like steak knives, tea bags, and measuring cups, it should prove to be functional for most guests. There is a large TV in the large living room and the internet was fine for streaming without any issues. The bed was comfortable and a large dresser is available for storing clothes. Be aware that the only available heat is from a gas fireplace, two portable space heaters, and another space heater in the bathroom.

We had such a fab time in the Berkshires while staying at Suzy + Marc’s cabin! It felt like I was in countryside novel. A great location as it’s tucked into the woods but a quick drive to Great Barrington and for food and things to do. They were also very accommodating and communicative! Hope to come back in the fall!

the cottage was gorgeous and everything we needed. the instructions to get in and where to find everything were very clear. I loved the guest book with local information and recommendations! we would definitely stay again!

My family and myself loved every square inch of this property! From the serene views and well landscaped garden, to the sound of a stream to fall asleep to, the spotless interior and attention to detail…the pet bowls and bed, the labeled cabinets, the toiletries and games, we never wanted to leave! We last minute had to accommodate family members to be picked up later than the check out time and Michael was kind enough to extend our stay until 2pm so we could relax and enjoy more time together! We might make an annual trip out of this house and can’t thank the host enough for his immediate responses and making us feel right at home. Beautiful home, we loved sharing it! The first night we ate at the near by restaurant on the water, Housatonic House, also a recommendation on the fridge! Great food and service and BEAUTIFUL views! It ended up raining Saturday, but we still got a Hike in on our last morning at Osbornedale State Park, beautiful trails and picnic areas! Wonderful time.
