La Magara is an old house built at the end of the 18th century. It is located on the highest point of Civita, a small village of Arbëresh origins, at the entrance to the Pollino National Park. La Magara consists of 4 large rooms equipped with all comforts. Warm and welcoming lights, panoramic views, and simple, reused materials that reference the historical past of domestic environments. Each room has retained its characteristics and each has an outlet in a different street. La Magara offers an exclusive experience of history and customs: from food to colors, from silence to the magical atmospheres that the environments offer. Breakfasts are the ultimate expression of local culture. Homemade jams and desserts, local fruit freshly picked in the family garden give a good morning. Excellent restaurants, nature walks, sports and open-air excursions, local life and culture, relaxation and wellness.

Our original family home. The apartment is characterized by the beautiful original cement tiles: it is bright, fresh, ventilated, well-furnished and equipped. Comfortable and quiet, with a large and usable balcony of 5 square meters, a view and an exclusive and enchanting location. Practical outdoor parking, unguarded but safe (local police/carabinieri barracks), 100 meters away. The heart of the village with shops, markets, bars and restaurants can be reached on foot in less than 5 minutes and the beaches, by car, in 15 minutes.

Immersed in unspoiled nature and in close contact with everything that the majestic Park offers, from the dinosaur of nature "Pino Loricato" to the peaks of Dolcedorme; from the Gorges of Raganello to the Timpa di S Lorenzo; from the Timpa di Porace to the spectacular Fagosa... and then visit the abyss of the Bifurto or also called Fossa del Lupo. Villa Franca is located about 850 meters above sea level and overlooks a balcony on the Mercure Valley surrounded from east to south by the Pollino chain. Given the location, you can get to the Lao gorges for rafting, Mount Pollino for hiking and the Latronico thermal baths in a few minutes

The apartment is on the ground floor. It was the old house of my grandparents, whom they built with their own hands with the support (solidarity) of the women of the village. They bore on their heads the stones that make up the structure of the wall. The reward? Dances and wine all night. Self-taught organist, my grandfather played and my grandmother welcomed all people. A beautiful energy remains in each stone ... It will be a pleasure to share all this with you.
