Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Tornado Alley

My absolute favorite roadside motel EVER and the best deal on Old Route 66. The place is old but crazy clean, the owners are super nice, and the beds are some of the most comfortable I have slept on. This was my second stay and I’m sure I’ll be back.

I grew up in Emporia and my parents lived six blocks from the Gufler Mansion for many years, and I walked by it often from their home to Emporia State University. I finally had a chance to stay in this beautiful house, and I'm so glad I did. Brad and Susan were the perfect hosts, kind and accommodating, as was their associate Selena. There was a large bridal shower happening when I arrived, and a group was setting up for a wedding that evening, but Brad still managed to make time to give several of us a tour of the house, from the third floor to the basement. My room was lovely, and I enjoyed a quiet evening reading a book from the library. Highly recommend a stay here, should you be lucky enough to find a room available. I can't wait to come back -- and I'll stay longer next time.

Would definitely stay here again. Very quiet. Good wifi and cell reception for working. 10 minutes drive to grocery store. big open house with lots of windows. good water pressure and temp in the showers. clean rooms and bathrooms. only drawback is the last mile is on gravel road.

Great place with a pool, hot tub in a nice suburb close to highway. Plenty of food options too. James was very friendly and a good chat. He had good recommendations for dinner, of which there are plenty of options close by. Hosts let you control the air conditioning for the upper level, where the rooms are. This is unheard of and really helped me sleep well. Also on offer is some breakfast with coffee.

Before we even arrived, Donna had reached out with directions and check-in information. Once we arrived, we quickly learned what a delight Donna is, and how she loves her guests and wants each person to feel special. We were in town for the wedding of my husband's friend. The guys had lots of things planned, but I enjoyed Molly's Manor and the town. There are 4 bedrooms on the second floor. Our room was very comfortable, with a private bathroom. There was a family room down the hall that contained many amenities. There was a beautiful front porch with lots of seating options. Perfect to enjoy any time of the day or evening. I had the opportunity to learn the history of the property and take a tour. The basement suite and Carriage House are also lovely options. The paved off street parking was nice and a large area. I walked to a coffee shop, diner, pizza place, grocery store, C-store and consignment store. This town has much more to offer. Molly's Manor and Donna are gems!

We enjoyed our stay at Valiant. The room was very clean, quiet, comfortable, and spacious. The view was great. It was easy to come and go without feeling like we were inconveniencing anyone. Friendly host. Overall a very welcoming experience!

Colleen was a fantastic host! She was very friendly and responsive, and the breakfast was terrific! It is a perfect location to explore Medicine Park and the surrounding area.

This is the cutest place to stay! Very comfy and inviting! Great location! No need to drive anywhere! Irene was very responsive, informative and easy to chat with! Room was extremely clean and beautifully decorated! The bed was amazingly comfortable. We slept so well! The balcony was a nice addition to comfort as well! We will definitely be returning! Was great for an anniversary getaway. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house is historic with plenty of period-piece furniture, local history books, and photos of the original owners. Comfortable and nostalgic. Breakfast was good and the interaction with staff was great. Very friendly. House is in walking distance to restaurants, coffee shop, bakery, and FHSU campus.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Willa's second home. We used all the main floor rooms that were decorated appropriately for the era. We loved the fluffy towel, kleenex, and wine glasses. Delicious breakfast items that we didn't expect. in all, a perfect, fun stay!

If you need lodging in this part of the state you simply can't go wrong choosing to stay here. Everything was set up to ensure a relaxing comfortable and enjoyable experience. Beth is great and having breakfast made for us was the topper. We will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

A beautiful home with wonderful hosts. Jenny greeted us upon arrival and took us too our room and gave us the tour. She had a list of activities in the area and a map of the town with restaurants and such. We were there for s special event and still managed to fill our days with things to explore. The house and room was cozy. Everything just as described. Loved it.

Look around the room for tidbits about the history of the house and Bonham! Had lovely breakfast in the morning and equally lovely chat with Steve and Karen. Definitely check our this lovingly restored history building!

We enjoyed our visit at the Cowboy Cabin. It fit our group of three perfectly. Comfortable beds. David was great at communicating.

Roxanne's place was clean, easy to find, and she communicates well. Check in was easy and self serve and check out was just as easy. This was a great middle place to stay near the wedding venues I visited. I would recommend or stay again!

I really enjoyed my stay here, the host was very very respectful, polite, and very generous. This was my first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and I can honestly say it was well over worth it, and if I could I’d stay again anytime

Wonderful mother / daughter hosts. A beautiful location, overlooking nice big watershed / lake. Delicious breakfast. It was just two of us this time - will be a perfect location for a family trip in the future.
