Barn accommodation in Tornado Alley

Our stay at The aKa Stables LLC was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the peaceful atmosphere and stunning country-meets-urban charm. The home was beautifully maintained, with modern amenities that blended perfectly with the rustic elegance of the stables. The attention to detail was outstanding-everything from the comfortable beds to the fully equipped kitchen made us feel at home. The fresh farm eggs, local produce, and baked goods were such a thoughtful touch! The view from the deck was breathtaking, offering a perfect spot to relax. Phil was a fantastic host, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Whether you're here for a quiet getaway, an equine retreat, or a special event, this place truly has it all. We can't wait to return!

We loved our stay at The Roost. The area was beautiful and peaceful, and it was so clean and cozy. We enjoyed all the little extra touches throughout, as well as the walking paths and outdoor space. We would definitely stay again if we’re ever in the area again.

Lasada Lodge did not disappoint. The only place you will find better service is at your mother or grandmother’s house. They even offered to help carry luggage in. The premises were well maintained. My group was discussing opportunities to return because it was peaceful even with the shooting range close by. You are treated like friends or family by the host.

Clean and comfortable! It’s fun to hear the occasional horsey noises. All together a unique and easy stay.

An awesome experience like none other, we were there celebrating our twins 16th birthday and to say they loved it is an understatement! Lots to do from hiking, swimming in the Brazos, axe throwing, feeding animals to creating figurines and painting rocks. Lots to do, relax in the hot tub after activities but lots to do, Bill, Linda and Trista have lots to offer out here! We hope to be back in the future and experience their place again! This place was perfect! We were in town for a bass tournament. 15 minutes from the boat ramp and PLENTY of parking for 3 Trucks with boats and room to spare. Ted made sure to come by and say hi and give us some ideas for local spots to get a nice steak. Definitely would go here again. WELL worth what we paid.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Barn in Muleshoe, Texas, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The Barn itself is a charming and cozy retreat, beautifully decorated, and offers all the amenities you could need for a comfortable visit. It was extremely clean and made for a great place to stay in Muleshoe.

Great little farmhouse. We were there for work for a few days and this little farm house was perfect for our stay. Jennifer was a great host.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and cannot wait to go back! The barndominium was GORGEOUS, and very well-appointed. They had everything we could have needed and more. We had a blast feeding the longhorns, sipping coffee while watching the sunset and we played multiple ping pong tournaments! Chuck & Susie were excellent communicators and hosts - definitely a 10/10 stay for us! ☺️

Karon’s place was fantastic - very private with gorgeous views. The inside was modern and beautiful with everything you need. We will be back in the future!

Geri and her husband, Todd, were very gracious hosts. Very accommodating in showing our family the different aspects and animals on their property. Lots of space and very quiet. We loved it!

We had a wonderful Valentine’s camping retreat here! Got to take our dog on some trails close by and meet the donkeys next door. The hot tub was a must each night under the stars. They really thought of everything to go along with the awesome amenities provided. One of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed in!

Scott was an amazing host. Super responsive and extremely helpful. Cannot say enough positive things about the host and the home. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly reccomend.

Hello. I just wanted to leave our experience at this place, it’s being amazing. We just had a little concern about the shower situation I wish we had more water pressure. Te rest of the house was just good enough for all of us. One more thing is that the patio is just good there is a lot of space but when it gets night is really dark we can’t really see anything, I wish there was at least one post light outside so we can have more view at night . And spend more time outside. If we had more light outdoors it could had made it a little better ! But thank you for having this place it’s been amazing

This was a hidden gem… the barn was so cute and cozy. Rick came by that evening to make sure we were ok and asked if we needed anything Would definitely recommend

Our stay on Lake Texoma at the A frame cabin was amazing. The outdoor areas are awesome and so good for a large family gathering. We had no complaints and hopefully we can book this place again in the future. We especially loved the neighborhood dogs…Daisy and Snickers! Thanks for the hospitality!

Definitely lived up to a quiet Retreat space, aside from traffic running down the road there was no major man-made noise. Interior was immaculate, felt very inviting just walking in the door. Didn't look like much from the outside but inside it was 10/10 amazing. Definitely will try to stay here again if I need something in this particular area
