Holiday rentals with a patio in Toggenburg District

A lovely and charming place to stay. Rosemarie made sure we had what we needed to accommodate our family stay.

We felt very welcome right from the start. The hosts are very nice and friendly. We kept talking to each other. Communication was great. The amenities in the apartment are great. Everything is available for cooking. Lots of loving details in the decor. Nothing was missing. The place is highly recommended!

A truly charming and special place with so much character. The historic atmosphere, cozy layout, and beautiful views made it unforgettable. Huge thanks to the lovely host for being so kind and helpful — and for the amazing homemade bread and jam! Hope to return soon.

Also during our second stay everything was as described. Daniel was always very friendly and helpful. The room is a bit noisy, but for our daughter it was no problem. The room to the yard is significantly quieter. We would also come back a third time;-).

The accommodation is much larger and more beautiful than anything the photos can show... When you open the front door, you feel like you're entering a SPA, everything is so beautiful, smells good, is bright and spacious. The apartment is huge, furnished with great taste, the view of the countryside and the lake is breathtaking, the bedding is excellent, the two bathrooms are beautiful, the kitchen is perfectly equipped and what can I say about the private sauna and the heated pool: it's just the dream to be able to benefit from all these amenities in an apartment that is actually like a villa on the top floor of this small 3-storey building. In short, a haven of peace where we spent 5 enchanting days: we will return with great joy and warmly thank Manuela for her availability to answer all our questions very quickly by message!

We were a group of 7 and had a truly wonderful stay! The accommodation is nestled in a peaceful and stunning setting, just 10 minutes by car from the charming village of Appenzell. Accommodation matched the description perfectly and exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and atmosphere. Werner and his wife are both genuine, kind, and incredibly helpful. They were very polite and made us feel right at home. Werner was also a very responsive host and provided us with excellent hiking recommendations, which added so much to our experience. The area offers amazing hikes and beautiful nature all around. Overall, a fantastic stay with warm, welcoming hosts. We would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy nature with rustic Swiss charm!

We were a group of 9 girls and had a wonderful weekend at the accommodation. Communication with Lydia was great – she always responded quickly and kindly. The accommodation itself was very clean, cozy and well equipped – we lacked nothing. The absolute highlight was the whirlpool, which we used extensively. All in all, it was a completely successful stay. We would book again anytime and can only recommend it!

Absolutely recommended: great location, wonderful views, very quiet. The house is a charm; it targets wood everywhere. The amenities are very good, especially the tiled stove, the hot tub outside and barbecue all heatable with the wood are really great. It was fun to build fires. The location is perfect for the mountaineers: some hiking trails start right by the house, others can be reached after a short journey. We did not meet Urs personally, but the communication was very easy and friendly. Conclusion: we will be back; we felt really comfortable here.

We've spent 5 nights in Nicole's house with our friends, 4 couples alltogether. It is a huge house, there are rooms everywhere. It reminded us the house from "Home Alone" :) We really liked it. Though the guests must clean the house before they leave - everything was clean, nice and comfortable. The kitchen had a lot of accessories which we appreciated a lot as we love to cook. They have everything you would need for a great vacation, we especially liked the premium furniture, grill and cooking equipment and the large fridge. You can also find gorgeous surrounding, fields, forests, ruins and obviously cows and goats around the house. Ideal to have some new animal friends :) The only strange thing was that the house seems to be Nicole's family home which they rent out for the summer so they have their stuff in the cabinets, images on the wall. If you are used to stay in apartments, it can be unusual for the first time. Anyway, it was a great experience, thanks Nicole for having us!

Great place, we were absolutely satisfied. Well stocked kitchen. Super location. And also the communication with Sibylle was simple and very warm. We will be happy to come back!

Cosy accommodation in a beautiful mountain region The apartment is very cozy, tastefully furnished and offers plenty of space – perfect for families or a small group. We immediately felt welcome. The surroundings are fantastic for all those who like to be outdoors: there are numerous hiking and walking trails, wonderful viewpoints, pure nature and diverse possibilities to relax or be active – be it hiking, swimming, in the snow or simply enjoying the peace and quiet. Leo was a very friendly and helpful host. The contact was pleasant and uncomplicated, the welcome gift a nice gesture. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to come back. A clear recommendation!

We felt right at home from the beginning. Fresh linens + towels, so like at home. Without a car there is bad, it is bad because you are there for hiking.

Experience was very amazing! The hosts provided an abundance of information and instructions that were very clear and translated! The apartment has an amazing view of the mountains and very easy access to the lake and restaurant nearby. The apartment was really clean and well put together. The color scheme and furniture of the apartment were very well chosen by the hosts and really felt homey. The only issue was that we didn’t stay longer!

Very welcoming family! The accommodation was Superb, a very nice decoration everything was extremely clean when I arrived and for my trips as I slept during the day I couldn't find better than that! Our family of 5 used Nicole's place in Unterterzen as a home base to visit Switzerland. The apartment was clean, larger than we expected based on the pictures and description, and easily walkable to the train station and grocery store. The kitchen was very well appointed compared to other Airbnb's. The lake and surroundings are grogeous, with easily walkable paths and is close to the Gondola up to Flumersberg and the ferry to other cities around the lake. Everything at the apartment was operational and instructions from Nicole for checkin / checkout were very clear. Nicole was responsive to any questions and needs. We very much enjoyed our stay in Unterterzen and had many memorable experiences we will carry for the rest of our lives.

Nice apartment in serene alpine mountains. We felt very comfortable and welcomed. Everything you need is available for a fair price. Driving up the windy narrow roads requires a bit of skill, but it’s absolutely worth it.

Beautiful apartment located right on the water. This was an amazing experience for my family. Had everything we needed and the beds were very comfy! We had an amazing time! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Amazing views and excellent location.
