Built in 1860 for workers at the nearby cotton mill, this home has many period and original features. Stag Cottage (built C1580) is a beautiful, quaint, historic Grade II Listed building hidden away in the ancient, hilltop Pennine village of Heptonstall. Old Piggery beautiful views. Dog friendly garden.

We converted the Old Piggery over 20 years ago, and have recently done a full refurbishment. It now has a cosy snug with a sofa as well as a lounge with far-reaching views. There is an ensuite bathroom and downstairs, a shower and toilet. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor with a king-sized, chunky farmhouse bed with an extremely comfortable mattress. The lounge area has a Laura Ashley sofa and snuggle chair positioned to take in a far-reaching views or a 43 inch TV if you prefer!

Spacious 4 bedroom house, with 2 bathrooms, 2 sitting rooms and large kitchen. Established garden with patio to enjoy the fresh air and parking for up to 4 cars. We are a short walk from the town centre where there are independent shops and great cafes and for the cyclists we are on National Cycle Route 66. It is ridiculously close to the railway station (2 minutes) and got bus links to Halifax and Haworth. Perfect for holidays, cycling or walking breaks.
