Bjørklund farm

Welcome to this idyllic old farmhouse on Tjeldøya. The northern Light can be seen right outside the door and during the summermonths one can see cruiseboats on the Tjeldsund strait. The house is close to the sea, and the island is perfect for hikes in the mountains. You can fish cod, Salmon, makrell or flatfish - and if lucky you may ser the whales or some of the majestic eagles that habitates in this area. This year it is perhaps particularly attractive to be able to come to Bjørklund Farm if Norway holidays.

Belonging to the apartment is a porch with lovely views into Ofotfjorden and out towards Hålogalandsbruen and Narvik. Outside you will find garden, communal jetty and nice outdoor area all the way down with the sea. Possibility to wash and dry clothes. Wifi in the apartment with limited number of GB, desirable that you do not stream.

Your own private cabin, with the ocean right outside your window. Inside you find three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and a bathroom. Go outside and enjoy the view from the sea side patio, complete with furniture and a campfire pan. Depending on the season and weather you can see eagles and other birds fly by, or just enjoy the stunning aurora. It´s a 3 minute walk to our small city center with grocery stores, sports shop, a liquor store, pharmacy, hair dressers and a gas station.

A unique experience close to nature. Our cabin is situated in untouched wilderness, close to lakes, valleys and mountains. Unlimited fishing and hiking potential. 35 minutes drive from airport & Harstad, 2.5 hours from Lofoten. Road access and free parking by the cabin. 10 minutes drive to grocery store & the sea. Mini kitchen (2 hot plates, fridge and sink) and microwave with grill function, coffee maker and kettle, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. Extra fridge. Sheets and towels. The bed in room 1 is 150x200, in room 2 sofa bed 120x200. TV with chromecast with remote control in room 1, for use from mobile in room 2. incl. power and internet. If 2 people want separate bedrooms, it costs an extra 200 NOK. Camping chairs and tables for outdoor use.

Evenes Airp. Northern lights on the way to Lofoten

New cottage from 2014 just 10 km from Evenes Airport. The cabin is located halfway (260 km each way) between Tromsø and Å on the mainland of Lofoten. The cottage has a simple and good standard with most amenities one expects to find in a regular home. The cottage has lovely views towards Tjeldsundet in the north and has midnight sun from late May to mid July. In the dark part of the year there are good conditions for admiring the Northern Lights.

Newly built vintage style apartment in a former barn. The place is beautifully situated by the sea and mountains. Popular fishing spot for trout and salmon. Several kilometers of forest roads for walking. In winter, we have created a suitable fire pit to enjoy the Northern Lights that often beautifully dances across the sky.
