Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Tivives beach

Leonardo and Pablo were both extremely helpful and very quick to respond. The view on a sunny day in the pool was definitely the highlight of the entire stay. I highly recommend this Airbnb and would stay again! All the puppies in the immediate area were also a huge highlight for us! Thank you for sharing your home with us! Also, highly recommend visiting Container Platz for delicious variety of food trucks and a great date night/family night out atmosphere. Something for everyone there!

Great location! Walking distance to all the places in town and right by the ocean. We enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The bed is very comfortable. It’s easy to find and we appreciate the kitchen to cook our own food. The host is very responsive and friendly. Ear plugs are kindly provided to keep the city noise from disturbing sleep.

La casa muy limpia, ordenada y con todo lo necesario para una llegada plena y tranquila. El señor Don Adrián siempre amable, atento y respetuoso, al igual que Don Mario. Respondieron nuestros mensajes rápido y siempre estaban pendientes de cualquier cosa que pasará alrededor para informarnos. Definitivamente si vuelvo Alajuela este será uno de mis destinos prioritarios. Casa cómoda, grande, limpia, con todo lo que se necesita y más. Excelente 10/10✨

We stayed here the night before our flight home out of the San Jose airport. This was a perfect, affordable, lovely spot that is very convenient to the airport (5 min drive). The surrounding area wasn't ideal as it was hard to find good food within walking distance, but there were several spots within a 5-8 minute drive. The condo was clean, the property was excellent with a pool, playground and workout center and strong security. The host was very friendly and responsive! We'd definitely stay here again when we want to be near the airport!

Fijne woning, mooie tuin en zwembad ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Enige minpuntje is dat om bij de woning te komen het supersteil omhoog is en ook nog met een scherpe bocht. als je geen 4x4 hebt is het lastig omhoog gaan.

Tuve una excelente experiencia durante mi estancia en este Airbnb. La propiedad de Miguel estaba en perfectas condiciones: limpia, bien equipada y muy cómoda. Destaco especialmente la disponibilidad de agua caliente, aire acondicionado y una conexión Wi-Fi estable, lo cual representó un valor añadido significativo. Todo funcionó sin inconvenientes. Además, el anfitrión y coanfitriones fueron muy amables y atentos desde el primer momento, especialmente durante mi llegada, lo cual me hizo sentir bienvenida y bien recibida. Sin duda, recomendaría este alojamiento y lo consideraría nuevamente para futuras estancias. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Cinco estrellas bien merecidas.

Overall great stay and comfortable for our group. However some cautionary items to be aware of. The driveway to reach to the top of the property is quite steep, and in the rain the car skidded and wouldn’t get to the top of the hill. Need to have a vehicle if you’re going in and out with luggage. Good bit of wildlife you will encounter in the rooms and bathroom. There is only a hot water heater in the main bathroom.

Absolutely perfect. One of the best airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. And the best host experience as well with Marianna. I kept saying the whole stay “this is my dream house!” Perfect for families. Our kids spent hours in the pool every day we were there. We hope to be back soon!

Great location, a short walk from the beach. Spacious bedrooms and living area. Maud is a very considerate and accommodating host.

This was the absolute perfect home base to explore this part of Costa Rica. The house was stunning, exactly like photos and descriptions. Pool area was an unbeatable oasis and we did get lots of monkey visits! Comfortable beds, amazing bathrooms with great water temp and pressure, stocked kitchen and awesome patio space for meals and hangouts. Corner store literally at the end of our driveway was so convenient. Laura the concierge was amazing, so responsive, helpful friendly! I couldn’t be happier with the experience and will be recommending Matthew’s place to anyone I know visiting the area. I would absolutely stay here again and hope I’m able to return soon!

Todo muy lindo y mi familia disfrutó mucho. Es la tercera vez que vamos a la casa y siempre la pasamos super bien.

We absolutely loved our stay. The 15 minute walk to the beach and restaurants was easy and always full of adventures. The backyard is an oasis where you never knew what to find. We watched groups of monkeys hang out. A sloth chill for the day. Macaws 🦜 fly by and endless amounts of hummingbirds feed on the foliage around. It was such a peaceful yet convenient location that made us not want to leave.

The house and property were as described and expected and we were extremely happy with our stay! We were specifically looking for something outside of the typical tourist spots and Gary’s place did not disappoint. Gary specifically stated that the mosquito population at his house was low and he was absolutely right! Just a few tips and recommendations for other potential visitors. - The kayaks must be taken down the hill to the beach for each use for security reasons. We hesitated to use them until our last day for this reason but we wish we hadn’t. Gary made it very easy and he took them down on his car. It’s an easy paddle to some snorkeling and nice beach areas. You can avoid paying for parking and hauling gear. - there is a public road between the pool area and beach where locals like to park and hang out. Shrubbery gives visual privacy but you may hear music. This did not detract from our stay. Overall we absolutely recommend this house to others.

If Casa Serena is available BOOK IT now!!! The most wonderful, magical place I have ever stayed! The house and property are perfect with amazing views, wildlife, plants, waterfalls, comfy beds, beautiful pool, and more. Wai, the concierge, helped me from the moment I booked until the moment we left. He always responded quickly and helped me plan our itinerary, from activities, private chef our first night (did not want to worry about food after a long travel day), transportation, beach and restaurant recommendations. He was invaluable and can't brag on him enough! Gera the housekeeper is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She kept the place spotless including laundry, dishes and the best starfruit juice made from a tree right on the property! I know it can't be guaranteed but we did have a troop of Capuchin monkeys come and eat and play in the trees surrounding the veranda on our first morning. We loved Costa Rica and Casa Serena! Pura Vida!!!

This condo was exceptionally clean with a beautiful view. It was a very brief walk to the Main Street. Everything was literally five minute walk. They are picky with who they host (with good reason) because of how pristine it is. Thank you :)

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb. We were celebrating a momentous occasion, and the host left a delicious bottle of champagne along with fresh fruit. This was such a special touch and helped to make our stay even that much more enjoyable. The place was clean and looked exactly like the photos. The beach view was the wonderful cherry on top! The host was very responsive to all of my questions and inquiries. I definitely recommend this Airbnb to others, as it was a lovely experience for us. Sending a big thanks to the host!

Very nice place to stay on Playa Blanca

Great experience for our first time in Costa Rica!! Can’t wait to go back!! The pictures don’t even do the condo justice. It’s amazing and so convenient to town. Our guide in town, Chris, was unbelievable and had so many great suggestions. Pura Vida, Costa Rica!

We loved the place! Great location and has such an amazing view!! A very cute place. If we come back to this area we would def want to stay here again!

The condo was very easy to locate, you will need your passport when you check in with the gate guard. This was he can make sure the on the spell all the names correct & they match the reservation.

El lugar estuvo súper bien, teníamos todo a la mano, lo único es que el lugar tiene poca ventilación y nosotros no sentimos que el ventilador de techo hiciera mucho aire como tal, sin embargo había un ventilador de pie y ese si funcionó bastante bien. El apartamento está bastante bien equipado, el internet y todo lo demás 10/10

The host, Eric, had everything laid out super early on checking in information. The place was easy to find, safe entry way, elevator, and keyless entry. Very responsive does matter the hour of the day. A storm issues knocked out water messaged him it was resolved in minutes. Suggested restaurants nearby for the time of day. Shared information about the area. Parking is available it is gated and secured if car rental is your option. The location is 1 and half or less from SJO (Uber. $122 est) easy to come in but have tip leaving out cause they will decline trip if you don’t have at least $20 cash due to tolls cost and distance. Location was perfect away from strip of restaurants, casinos, local shops, and excursions. I would wait to book excursions off the Avenida Pastor Díaz save deposits for ATV rental or excursions vs Viator website. Food suggestions: Local Grill, Sunrise Brunch, El Manglar all amazing foods
