Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Well-appointed bright cottage, located on a natural plot in "Asserbo Plantage", with 2 km through the plantation to a good swimming beach. The house is furnished with a bright living room with large skylight windows in open connection with the kitchen. Newly renovated toilet with shower. Three bedrooms. Single beds (90 cm wide) in all rooms, distributed with two, two and one. In the garden, there is a shelter. There are two wooden terraces - one covered, south-facing and one east-facing. In June, July and August, it is rented only on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday.

Walk only 350 meters and you are in Kattegat. 350 meters to a large forest. 350 meters to a good grocery store. Nice garden. Cozy living rooms, nice kitchen, 3 bedrooms plus cozy annex. Close to everything, but is completely quiet and high above the city. Bed linen can sometimes be arranged for a fee.

Cosy summer cabin - for the relaxing vacation!

Our house is a cosy, classic wooden Danish summerhouse built in 1960 and thoroughly renovated in 2019. New windows have opened up the house and give a great outlook to the garden, the birds and all the wildlife passing through. The last few years we have let the garden grow more wild and this has attracted even more bird- and wildlife. We love our oasis and hope that you will do the same!
