Bed linen and towels are provided, along with a shampoo, conditioner, make up remover, body lotion and various other hygienic products. Please take note, that the apartment is not suited for young children (say under the age of 5) since we are not equipped for this and also the furniture is not adjusted (glass coffee table for example). The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with no elevator. The apartment is very close to both public buses and trams. You will find the nearest tram station, Vogelmarkt (tram line 2), just around the corner, and the nearest bus station, Gent Zuid (most bus lines), a couple of streets away. We have a chocolate atelier, where you are always welcome ! The setting is immediately adjacent to the city's famous Graffiti Street. A tasting in the chocolate studio below is a must, after which stroll to some of Ghent's many boutiques, and perhaps the weekend antiques market in nearby St Jacob's Square. From the railway station, you take the MAIN tram line no 1 to the city centre, we are at 300m from the stop GRAVENSTEEN (castle)

In the 18th century the tower was reconstructed as a ‘folly’, characteristic of the period. We are proud to say that our family has supported this heritage for more than 215 years. In 2009 we reconstructed it using refined decoration and catering for all modern conveniences. Last but not least: free private parking in our big garden

You will stay in a self-built caravan, insulated with sheep wool and equipped with a good bed and bunk bed and a cozy sitting area with a view of the meadow. Shower and toilet are in separate unit, with infrared heater. Enjoy a shower with a view of nature. Make a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy the surroundings. Shops and restaurants nearby.

Vacation home "Ruwe Schure" is rural, located close to Bruges, Damme, Knokke, Ghent. You can book for 4 to 6 people, there are 2 rooms each with a double bed and 2 chambrettes (2 single beds). There is also an extra relaxation room with pool table and darts. There are wonderful hiking and biking routes. All the necessities are available to stay comfortably, you can even do laundry there.
