The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. Our comfortable and inviting annex is sited over a converted 200 year old barn and situated in the quiet courtyard of Rose Cottage. This one bedroom accommodation has central heating, a kitchen complete with modern appliances, a separate lounge area with a Smart TV. DVD player (with a selection of DVDs) and free WiFi. The double bedroom has a multi-award winning Emma Original mattress, a Smart TV and en suite bathroom with toilet, wash basin and shower complete with toiletries and towels.

The Coach House Harthill

The Coach House is the beautifully converted annex of ‘The Old Rectory’; a very handsome Grade II listed seven-bedroom period home built by the son of the 1st Duke of Leeds back in 1720, in the pretty village of Harthill. It offers the perfect location to explore Sheffield and the surrounding Peak District, conveniently situated close to the M1 (Junction 30) and A57. The bright and spacious living area comprises a kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms and has off road parking for two cars.

Carnegie Library, built in 1906 and continued as a library up until 1970s. This apartment was the reading room. Beautiful original large arched windows bring natural light to the place. It is an unusual layout with mezzanine floor for the bedroom and a little nook area for the sofa bed. Separate bathroom with shower etc. Please note you are coming to an ex mining village so while Swinton it's self is not a holiday area , it is central to many interesting places around.

Great for walking, rambling and mountain bikers. Local village pub nearby and the market town of Retford a very short drive . Kingfishers literally beneath the lodge !

Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is attached to Bridge House, situated in the Peak District village of Bamford and benefits from a beautiful view of the River Derwent. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
