Armchairs give way across the room to a wrought iron double-bed. There is a separate shower room with WC and washbasin.

Our cedarwood lodge has been designed and built for our family and friends to use when they visit. It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The lodge has been designed to make the most of those idyllic views and is a retreat for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy our “world Heritage” status.

Snug Cottage
Snug Cottage is located at the bottom of Blencathra. It’s a perfect base to explore all local walks and enjoy the local surroundings. Within a couple of minutes walk from Snug Cottage there is a lovely coffee shop & two pubs. We are 5-10 minutes to the Railway Line which is a 4 mile walk which takes you to the closest town, Keswick - here you will find supermarkets & shops. As well as stunning views and walks, we are happy to recommend day trips and things to do.
