Family-friendly holiday rentals in Thompson Lake

Was a nice peaceful stay for the most part. The pools were nice to swim in although it seems not everyone seemed to want to follow the pool rules. Doesn't help that there were no lifeguards to ensure kids remained safe other than the parents. A few times I saw individuals in the pool water with either glass or an open drink in hand. Saw kids diving into the pool and even witnessed a few hurt themself. But other than that, the hot tub was so lovely to soak in. The arcade room was fun to play in. It was cool to see there was a lot to be able to do in the area for yourself. Definitely wish there was more to do in the area other than the classic tourists spots. A lot of beautiful spots to hike. We ended up checking out Diana's Bath and it was a gorgeous spot to watch cascading waterfalls or have a tiny dip. Would definitely check out this space again and maybe spend a few more days to truly appreciate the environment and mountains ^-^

Great place to stay with an awesome view of white heat!

Perfect stay for 4 adults, 1 infant, and 1 dog! Love the two-bedroom, two-bathroom layout, plus the kitchenette to make oatmeal and toast in the morning before hitting the ski trails. Clear check-in instructions, no hassle at all even when we arrived around midnight.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it was just as great as the first! The area is secluded and quiet. The cabin is well taken care of and the perfect place to stay and relax in the area. We appreciate you!

I was happy to return to stay at Deb's, this time around in the studio loft. It was very spacious and comfortable and included anything that you might want or need. It was a perfect spot for me to rest while watching ski races at Black Mountain for the weekend. Thanks for being a wonderful host once again, Deb!

Wendy’s place was really nice and the hot tub is very private.. we definitely got our usage out of it… Wendy herself was extremely kind and open minded. She didn’t rush us out come check out, instead, she encouraged us to stay a little longer and enjoy the hot tub before our long journey back home.. she gave us good tips about golden gems only locals know about 🥰 She did have a cool book to share reviews but I didn’t have a pen.. also we left grape soda in the fridge from Canada for the next person to try!! The place was great. Quiet with beautiful views. Lots of games which was helpful because it rained a lot during our stay. 10/10 would recommend and stay again. Host was very helpful and kind. The woman that cleaned the pool was also very sweet. My 8 year old was itching to swim in the freezing pool when it wasn’t quite ready and she offered to come to our room and let us know when she was done. Thank you for having us!

Our stay with at Christie and Richie’s treehouse was amazing! Not only were they exceptional hosts, but the accommodations were perfect. The treehouse is super cozy, the hiking trails are beautiful, and it’s all around peaceful place. We brought our dog and he had a great time as well! Their dog Bo was a great playmate for our dog. I highly recommend staying with Christie and Richie!

Perfect weekend retreat for a small family with a young one. Close to downtown, museum, and the firepit was so nice at night. 5 stars all around and will return in the future. Thanks Phillip!

A beautiful and cozy space with lovely natural light and generous room to spread out. The full kitchen is equipped like a real home, with everything from basic pots and pans to whisks and even nut crackers! A great place for cooking full meals. A nice quiet location, even with its relative proximity to a regularly-traveled road. I'm sensitive to noise and was never bothered by sounds of traffic. Pettengill Farm is only a few minutes up the road, a beautiful place to walk for both dogs and humans and really easy to access multiple times a day. Mandana was always very responsive to communication, and when there was a glitch with Airbnb's fee calculation she was extremely helpful and approachable and took care of it immediately.

Our stay at Margaret's home was very relaxing and comfortable. Pristine bathroom, kitchen and bedding. The lake view was so much more than we anticipated. It was serene, peaceful, and breathtaking. She went out of her way to answer questions for us about the area, and we left feeling like we just gained a new friend. Jeff and Donna

Highly recommend for a couple looking for a weekend getaway. My wife and I had a lovely stay here. We were in town for a wedding in Jackson and this was a perfect location only 7 mins up the road (gorgeous backroad drive). Check-in was easy, Barbara was lovely to communicate with, and accommodations were exactly what we needed. Cute little studio with everything we needed (kitchen, bathroom, comfy bed) and a beautiful view of the river and mountains. Very peaceful stay and would definitely stay again if ever back in town. Great location for our parents weekend at our daughter's school close by. Our stay was perfect. We wanted for nothing. Host was friendly and communicated well. The property was well maintained, quiet, and private. We definitely want to stay again soon. Very thankful for Barry for sharing and trusting us with his beautiful property.

We really enjoyed Elizabeth's house. It was beautiful and peaceful. The dock and beach were great. Communication was awesome! would loved to stay stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lisa’s house in our white mountains foliage trip. Very quiet and stunning views of the mountains in color right in the living room. Secluded location but very short drive to Jackson and Conway. We would be happy to return again. Highly recommended!

The condo was nicely stocked and had everything we needed for our family. Extra blankets in each closet and the beds were so comfortable! Easy to find and very close to the mountain we were skiing at for the week. Clubhouse with the pool was also within walking distance which was a huge plus.

We had a lovely stay at the condo. It was the most comfy place to get snowed in. We received about a foot of snow the night we checked in and Seasons was very helpful to continually plow and shovel walkways. We explored the property and had fun sledding down hills with our tube. The condo is very clean and comfortable and has everything you may need. It was still decorated for the holidays which was a nice touch as well. The electric fireplaces worked great and were so pretty to look at. All of the furniture was very cozy and comfortable. The carpet throughout is great on cold days. We highly recommend a sleigh ride at Nestlenook farm if staying in the winter. Living Shores Aquarium is down the block and a great place to visit with kids. Diana’s Baths is a short drive away and beautiful to explore in the snow. Our daughter loved seeing the frozen waterfall. There are lots of restaurants nearby. We can’t wait to come back and see it during the summer months.

We had a wonderful stay here! We were up for a weekend to enjoy the snow and mountains and appreciated how close it was to everything we planned. We had a snow storm the second night and the grounds maintenance was perfect, we had no problem walking right out the door. We would recommend heading for a stay!

We loved our stay and couldn't have felt more at home. Condo has everything you need and the hosts were so kind. Plenty of space for our family of 4 but could easily fit 6. Location is ideal for families to explore all Bartlett has to offer. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back!

Krysten's chateau was perfect for a family trip with my girlfriend, my sister and my sister's husband! The two bedrooms were very tidy and cozy and both bathrooms had plenty of towels and soaps. Krysten left thoughtful touches through the space such as a guide book with recommendations for places to visit, restaurants, and instructions for check in, check out, and how to use all of the amenities. the view from the back porch was beautiful and this made for a very cozy, yet spacious, place to rest after long days of hiking various trails (and Mt. Monroe) and visiting the surrounding areas, including North Conway. This space would be especially great for families with kids because there are board games included by the owner(s), bunk beds in the second bedroom as well as a second queen bed, and you would be in arms reach or Story Land! Overall, I would 10/10 recommend this AirBnb to anyone looking for an affordable, renovated, clean, and beautiful space for their trip to New Hampshire!

We had a wonderful stay for a family vacation. Plenty of room for all 8 adults and baby, loved the large kitchen table for dinners and playing games. The place is just as described with both bathrooms downstairs, 4 separate sleeping areas and a nice warm gas fireplace. Just a helpful hint, the bedroom on first floor can hear family playing upstairs and walking around but honestly we would definitely stay hear again, it’s super clean and very comfortable beds and a great kitchen. Our family loved the recreation room across the street with a large indoor heated pool and 2 nice hot tubs.
