Community shop and cafe. The people of Point use this as a meeting Point. Very tasty soup, cheesies, cakes and other baking here. Nice for lunch or high tea. Gaeilic spoken, say: Dee naa maa haa sjuu (how are you)

This is where the locals form Point peninsula shop. It closes at 7 pm and not open Sundays. They have lovely simple homecooking meals and amazing baking

Buth an Rubha is the nearest shop to Aird Cottage. It's 5 miles away and has a licensed shop and small cafe and is open from 0900-2000 Mon-Sat. To get to the shop turn left at the end of Aird. Follow the road for 5 miles and turn left at A' Chnuic. The building was a school previously so you can't miss it.
