Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Thénac

Lovely, well equipped gite, situated in a very quiet rural location (car essential). Host was a pleasure to deal with and responded promptly to our correspondence. Would recommend highly.

We had a lovely stay at Josse gite. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. The cottage was clear, tidy and adequately equipped. Great to have a pool too. A beautiful part of the world. Very highly recommended.

Really friendly welcome from Chantal and available if we needed her. The cottage is beautiful, comfortable and has everything you need. Also loved the big shower. Location is great. We had a 6 course tasting menu at the local restaurant called Dix which was amazing. Everything you would expect from a pretty rural hamlet in France.

We had a great stay in Bergerac. Nicole personally met us and showed us where to park ( this was a bonus) and how to access the home. All was very straight forward. This is a home extraordinaire, but comfortable. For a central city location there is a lot of room. The deck is an added bonus. The location was excellent, right in the old town. The town is an excellent location to explore the area.

Odette, François's wife, received us kindly and made us feel right at home. She made sure we were able to go into relax mode right away. We also got tips on what we could possibly do and because we were in transit, which we could also do better somewhere else. François and Odette came to check several times during our stay whether everything was to your liking, so we also chatted cozily. Very hospitable people and a top studio (which will apparently also be renovated). In the morning we left at 8am and they were ready to wave us out. Definitely recommended!

Location is beautiful, apartment is very nice and has all the modern equipment. Note that garage and EV chargers are not available, and street parking varies depending on the season. It was fully packed in May. There are several stair flights, so staying with the strollers might be complicated.

The apartment and the house are very lovingly renovated and carefully modernized, so that medieval charm and high comfort combine. The garden is large and beautiful, the location perfect. Françoise was very friendly and helpful on arrival (she also speaks very good German) and check-out was straightforward. All in all a great experience, we would have liked to have stayed a long time and enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of the place!

We had a lovely stay with the family, at Francis' cottage, directly overlooking a beautiful green space, overlooking the river. The tastefully rehabilitated mill, allows a complete change of scenery. Very well appointed, clean, well-equipped and very spacious accommodation: 5 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a beautiful kitchen with everything you need, a fireplace and a large living room. The outdoor space is great: large covered terrace, outdoor kitchen area with an attached pergola, garden furniture and relaxation area. Francis and his family are very charming and attentive hosts, so that the stay is as pleasant as possible. If you want to have a great time with the family, I advise you to stop at the Moulin de la Rode, you will not be disappointed.

The apartment is right in the middle of a beautiful village, and everything you could want is just steps away. There are several different markets that take place in the square that the apartment looks out over. The flat is large and well-equipped, but the kitchen stands out. It is large and has every kind of kitchen gadget that you can imagine. There are many many things to do and see in the village and within thirty or forty minutes drive. It is really an ideal location.

Wow, this place was truly fantastic. The photos do not do it justice as it is much more beautiful in real life. There are amazing views out the large windows in the living area. The terrace gets a lot of sun and is very peaceful. One double bedroom is bigger than the other but both have ample space (more than the photos suggest). It was all very clean. Marie-Claude was there to meet us in person and seemed very kind. She was easily contactable during our stay. Merci beaucoup!

We stayed at Alexandra's apartment for professional reasons. Alexandra is a real gem of extraordinary kindness. Her apartment is beautiful and exceptionally clean. Very attentive to our needs, Alexandra was able to respond to our requests. We are delighted with this stay in Bergerac. We strongly recommend ❤️ We'll be back!! A huge thank you.

Weekend rental -A nice stay of a past - Hosted by Emilie's parents at the time of our choice (as for checkout) very positive 👍 Very expeditious check-in inventory which can be inconvenient for small details already damaged (which does not change anything at the place) 😊 A beautiful outdoor space with the visit of neighboring cows 😁 A good BBQ area (charcoal and accessories not included) A very pleasant Jacuzzi space without a view of the neighbors ❤️ Activities (billiards, foosball...) are much appreciated 🙂 The cost of cleaning remains high and it's a shame that it is not operational but in view of the initial price it remains a good value for money. 👍 I would recommned this property 👍

Our family of five and another family of four spent almost a week at Elaine’s lovely home and didn’t get under each other’s feet the entire trip! Despite the rain which kept us inside a large chunk of our stay, there is more than enough room to spread out and have a bit of privacy when you need it. The home is well-equipped with all manner of kitchen tools and games - everyone especially enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace and the vintage arcade. Lots of blankets and pillows for coziness too. Had the weather permitted, we would have loved to spend more time in the amazing outdoor space. It is expansive and was great for the kids to burn off some steam. Elaine was very helpful and responsive. To note, one of the three bathrooms is not updated like the other two but it’s a very manageable work around for the property as a whole. Overall I would definitely recommend Elaine’s lovely home for your stay in Bordeaux.

Had a fantastic stay at David's, was blessed with sunshine too, so got to enjoy the outdoor space. David was very attentive, the cot bed for my youngest was set up ready to use. The open plan area for cooking, eating and relaxing was great for keeping an eye on our boys. The security of the driveway gate meant our boys could play outside safely. It's a wonderful place to stay.

A real haven of peace! The large garden, pool and hot tub provide a great setting for relaxing. The accommodation is comfortable, very clean and as advertised. They're thoughtful and available. A refreshing stay that I would recommend without hesitation!

We had a wonderful week in Stéphanie and Cyril's lovely property. We were very well hosted by Lisa, a beautiful welcome basket was offered to us (honey, homemade jam...) and we are lucky to meet Stéphanie and Cyril on the day of our departure, who are beautiful people. And let's not forget Brioche, which is very cuddly. The house is suitable for hosting a family with children. We were 4 adults, and 3 children including a 3-month-old baby. Everyone had their own sleeping area, with bathrooms, very beautiful living room, tastefully decorated, beautiful space outside for meals, well-equipped kitchen. The pool area invites you to relax with the pretty bar. Area is beautiful. All the ingredients were there for us to have a lovely family vacation. We recommend this rental 200%.

We had a pleasant stay at Pierre's. The accommodation is very bright and well decorated. We were warmly welcomed with a fire in the fireplace. We highly recommend this listing for a stay with friends and family.

great house, much bigger inside than we can think from the photos. environment also even more beautiful than in the photos, total calm, huge pine trees in the garden and a lot of trees and vegetation that give the impression of being really elsewhere and far from everything. super swimming pool, large wooden terrace very nice and convenient to settle in at any time of the day. pretty and comfortable outdoor furniture. firm and perfect bedding as far as we are concerned (the beds are 140). bathroom/nickel toilet at the bottom and at the top. everything is spacious and bright, the kitchen is well equipped and organized. celine is very welcoming and responsive and gives useful information for the surroundings. we recommend it without hesitation. thank you!
