Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Thekkady

Ajesh sir is a wonderful host. Maps was giving the wrong directions to the Farm Stay (showing a short-cut route), we called Ajaesh sir, and he came to the place where we got stuck and guided us to the place. We booked two cottages, they were very well maintained, they are in the middle of the Plantation and the view is awesome. We spent more time taking Pictures. Ajesh Sir served us a delicious Kerala Appam breakfast. we definitely recommend this place. It's like living close to Nature, birds sound, cool breeze, waterfall sound.. a perfect place!

The place is really beautiful and peaceful, perfect for friends and family trips, very helpful and responsive caretaker. Arranged local food according to our preferences, arranged a jeep for local sightseeing. Overall it was an amazing experience.

This was the absolute dream destination! The perfect place to relax and enjoy a happy and memorable holiday. This place is a beutiful ancestral home converted into homestay right in the middle of hilly farms away from city noises. To top that the place is clean,cozy and has a small car parking shade and if needed you can use kitchen. The entire homestay of 2 bedrooms is given to a single group so make sure you are 4 or more to enjoy it to fullest. There are no market nerby so make sure you have your necessity with you before check in . Subin is a very friendly guy and will help you with food orders and local sightseeing,safari bookings.If you are interested he will show around farm and variety of spices. Important point: home stay being in hills is bit tricky drive last 1.5km with steep ascent and descent. Please always take Subin's help to cover this distance. Make sure your car breaks and tyres are in good condition. If not request him for alternate parking in the village. Overall recommended homestay with great host.

Abraham is a gentleman host and proactive in his communications. His place exceeds the description and photos you see in Airbnb. The last 400 meters is a bit rough, but can be handled with careful driving. The pool looks like it's still under construction and once completed it will be an excellent addition. It's still usable, and we had a lot of fun in the water. The property is surrounded by greenery and mostly you will be hearing the birds singing and chirping. The food prepared by the inhouse chef is excellent, though one may have to stick to Kerala/TN cuisine. There is a restaurant just 500m from the property. Highly recommended property if you are planning for a get together. Probably some board games and a shuttle net will be a worthwhile addition.

I will book this place again and again without a doubt. Great Hospitality by Abhilash and Gokul, made us feel at home. They went out of their way to make us comfortable in all ways. Extremely beautiful place. Hosts have built an amazing cozy space for visitors and the surroundings are equally beautiful. This was the most peaceful place i stayed in Kerela. Campfire and barbecue were cherry on the cake. Me and my friends throughly enjoyed the stay! I will come back soon 🥳

The caretakers were very good, helpful, and responsive. The images are from the actual place only, but maybe taken a few years earlier coz images show only tea garden around the place. However, in reality, there are other cottages around with tea plantations in between the buildings. Overall, the stay was perfect for my family.

This is a truly remarkable construction, a western touch, the best A Frame cottage we have found, and with 5 star amenities. I was here with my son and three other friends, they were very accommodating and friendly, and the bon fire at night was a nice touch. The management is top notch, and food was delightful, definitely worth trying out, as it’s a unique experience!
