Holiday rentals with a fire pit in The Great Lakes

I am still going to give a 5 star review regardless of a couple issues we had. First of all the house, amenities, and outside area are excellent and as described. The location feels very private and it is what we were looking for. We had 3 total issues during our stay, and 2/3 minimum were outside of the owner's control. During our drive in the Benton Harbor area had 60-70mph straight line winds that blew the outside furniture into the driveway. This storm also caused water to bypass a window and get the floor a bit dirty. Owners drove out early next morning and replaced outdoor furniture and I wiped up the water in the house. In the morning we realized the hot water was out. Owners immediately drove back out and investigated. They happened to have a property that was vacant at the time, and gave us access to it to drive there and shower. Overall communication and response was excellent. Owners made us whole, and I would recommend.

We had a very short stay here but it was great! The cabin was very clean and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

This place is the ultimate private romantic cottage with plenty to do on the water if you have a small family along as well.

Jim was a great host! The place was exactly like the pictures. Beautiful view, we had everything we needed, everything was spotless and the beds were super comfy. Wish we could have stayed a little longer!! Kingsville it s cute town with lovely restaurants a nice shops!

Amazing views, comfy beds, nice space! We saw blue herons every day! Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t take advantage of the lake for anything other than looking at it from inside, but the location on the lake was amazing.

Definitely worth recommendation! Geraldine's home has a modern design and stunning view of the lake. The community is beautiful and peaceful. Geraldine is a friendly and easygoing host, always responsive to what we asked and needed.

Amazing didn’t want to leave! What a gem on the North Shore. The views and sounds of the waves were everything I wanted and more. The floor to ceiling windows don’t disappoint. I will be back. Very clean and cozy.

3 days gateway with friends. We had really great time. Kitchen is equipped with all the basic required kitchenettes. Place is nicely decorated and it was clean. We enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner on the deck. Definitely recommend for short or long term stay. Walkable to cruise and restaurants.

It was my husbands and my first time visiting Wisconsin and this ended up being the perfect place! It was near everything we needed to get to and was the perfect space and size for the 2 of us for a few days! They made everything easy to understand and had clear directions! They even checked in with us to see if everything was going well! I would 100% recommend!

Maybe the best Airbnb attached to someone’s home that I’ve ever stayed in. Such a sweet set up. Very comfortable, clean, private. Thankful for the keurig for coffee and water bottles in the frig. My stay was short but very restful and waking up to have my morning coffee out on the deck and watch the river and the birds was the highlight of my stay. Mark was very good with communicating and gave clear instructions. The Airbnb was easy to find, even in the dark. Of course being attached to their home there was a bit of noise from the kids in the morning but that wasn’t until after 9am and didn’t bother me at all. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area!

I absolutely loved my stay at this charming studio! It had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing solo retreat. The setting is incredible - right on the water. The views were breathtaking, especially at sunrise, and the private sandy beach made it feel like a hidden oasis. The landscaping is gorgeous , and the beachfront seating, fire pit, and beach toys made it easy to unwind and enjoy. The patio was a perfect spot to relax with a view and peaceful atmosphere. The owners were so kind and welcoming. It felt tucked away, yet still close to everything. Truly the best of both worlds. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, and relaxing stay with stunning setting.

Loved my stay! The farm was gorgeous and so peaceful and rejuvenating. Wish I could’ve stayed longer and would definitely stay again. Dan and Suzanne were friendly and helpful and the apartment was comfortable, well-equipped and beautifully decorated. 5 stars!

A friend and I decided to head north for a quick night away. Taurean’s “King’s Den” apartment was the perfect choice! A gorgeous accommodation, filled with special little extras and attention to detail! We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

This is our second stay with Bente and we loved it just as much as much as the first time. We were included in social activities happening over the weekend on the farm which was an extra treat and was so kind. I love being able to show my kids the farm life and take a break from our regular life.

I can’t say enough good things. Went with my parents for a relaxing few days away from the daily stresses and Brooke’s place was a wonderful peaceful oasis. It was clean and well stocked with kitchen cookware and snacks. Had many comfy blankets and plenty of areas to sit both inside and outside. Plenty of games and books to use while there. Brooke was great communicating and everything in the place is very well labeled. My parents and I kept commenting on how it was a wonderful place and definitely worth the price. We would 100% return in the future and would recommend to everyone.

We cannot say enough good things about this beautiful house and the incredible surroundings. It is an exceptional listing with a wonderful host. Canoeing and bird watching was our favorite part— bald eagles, wood ducks, loons, swans and more. Easy drive to Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands. Amazing way to celebrate our twentieth wedding anniversary.

We had a great stay at Josh’s place. The cabin was beautiful with lots of open space. The bathroom also had lots of space for belongings. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the dock. Didn’t get to use the paddle boat or the fire pit because of the rain but it was still a beautiful view. The kitchen could use a few more utensils if you are cooking food, but really this is a non-issue. We made do with what was there. The upstairs loft bed was quite comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!
