“Laura was quick to respond to questions even prior to me booking. This was a last minute trip to take my NCLEX, so I was very thankful for her promptness. Our communication was great. Her place is comfy, and it was perfect for what I needed.”

“The house is absolutely gorgeous and finely decorated. Everything was well thought out and we were not left needing a thing. It was such an inviting space, and centrally located for us to travel out and about to see the local sights. The only thing that caught us off guard was the driveway, being that we are from a place with no hills. Our low riding vehicle had some trouble scraping the drive going up, but I noticed other people parking on the street, so I would just be aware that street parking may be a better idea (if allowed)”
Walk to Square (7/10 mi.) for food, music, books, shops; visit Faulkner's home (3 doors down); take wooded path to Ole Miss . . . all from your private barn-turned-cabin with porch. Queen and single upstairs in loft and queen fold-out down (fine for youngsters, but adults may find it less so). Small kitchen with sink, refrigerator, stove, oven, toaster, microwave and coffee maker. Glasses, dishes, minimal silverware and cooking supplies are provided. Continental breakfast provided, as well.
“Marian and Claiborne’s cabin is ideal. My wife and I enjoyed a quiet weekend in Oxford, and this property added to the flavor. It’s located practically in the shadow of Faulkner’s Rowan Oak, and so only a short trail-walk to the Ole Miss campus. Or, it’s a ten-minute walk through the neighborhood to the Oxford Square (bars and restaurants and such). The place is rustic but nice and clean. In the kitchen we found coffee and an ample breakfast, thanks to the gracious hosts. Friday night’s rain falling on the metal roof made for good sleeping. I recommend the cabin, and would be happy to return sometime.”
